It's been a week since the incident and Adrian has been avoiding the whole situation. Brandon came clean to him and it was just out of control. " Well if you thought this is how you were going to get me, you got it all wrong. This sucks, You suck. " Andrian rightfully freaked outon him. After that everyone kinda stayed out of his way because Adrian was not someone they were going to start picking on. On the other hand Mayo was really going through a freak out moment. No one in the school cared that he was dating another guy though so that was a phew for him. The real deal came from all the girls Adrian ever dated excluding Hannah Riola who was mature and his best friend. And maybe Karla. The others gave him a hard time though, with all the stares and insults about how he turned Adrian gay, he had heard enough of it. " Oh my god Karens do I look like I care about the name calling? Perras locas!!! (Crazy Bitches!!!)" Mayo says walking out of the classroom the Karens dragged him into for confrontation. "Ai Dios Mio(Oh My God), I'm sick and tired of these bitches thinking it's okay to talk to me like they know anything that went down that day... Did I make the wrong decision by letting my heart win over my head, accepting A, was not a mistake was it? " Mayo asked his best friend Rio. "It was not, trust me. I once liked him remember? And I can promise you I don't regret it because believe it or not, he helped me grow as a person. He is a good guy with good intentions and I know he wouldn't do anything to hurt you intentionally. That's how much of a good person and soul he is." Rio assures me and I kinda feel better now that I know for sure my best friend has my back. All I have to do now is talk to A, and we'll figure it out, together.
School is officially over for the day so I make my way to my house since I could use some alone time. Normally I would hang out with Rio and Issa but today I feel like I need time to reflect. I walk in the house and I can already hear some Reggaeton blasting. Looks like cousin Manuel is back again. He usually comes by when things are not going well at his home. His parents argue a lot and that irks him and honestly, I feel sorry for the guy. "Hola? Todo bien?" (Everything okay?) I ask obviously concerned about what is happening. I thought I had problems but mine can wait for now. " No,mamá se ha vuelto loca otra vez, (Mom has gone crazy again) I honestly wish they would divorce and end the misery once and for all." he sighs reducing the volume to the music. "I'm sorry... Really I am, I can't imagine what you're going through." I hug him trying to take away some of the pain. "Completamente no es tu culpa(Completely not your fault) so don't apologize. I know my mom will never change, it's not in her nature. " he says bitterly. And the worst thing is, he's speaking the truth. Aunt Emmanuela is such an evil person and Uncle Estaban is honestly better off without her. Manuel excuses himself to his room and so do I.
Later after I wake up from my nap, there's a knock on my door.

Mayo's Room
" Como en(Come in)."I call after whoever is at the door. "Ciao Amore(Hi Love)." Adrian makes his way to me. " I never pegged you as a Minecraft guy" he continues chuckling to himself. " I was obsessed as a kid okay, I just never got around to changing the room because I'm still a kid at heart." I say giving him a 'don't judge' look. He understands and makes a zipping the mouth gesture and throws away the key. I laugh at that and for a moment I forget we're having problems. " I'm glad that you can laugh even if it's for a moment love. I'm sorry about what happened at school and I promise we'll work through this together okay? " he holds my hand reassuring me that everything will me okay. I just nod.
Thirty minutes into it and I'm here making out with a boy. A boy is in my room right now, oh my goodness. Ai Dios Mio (oh my God) I'm about to faint. " Hijo(Son)..." walks in my father to find a boy on top of me. " Papa, oh shit... " I clearly don't know how to explain this situation. He just walks out and now we have to follow him into the dining room to discuss whatever happened. The minute I step into the room he spazzed out. " ¿Estas teniendo sexo en mi casa?(You're having sex in my house?),I know I said it was okay, but I didn't think you're actually doing it. I did not raise you like this. I haven't even met the guy yet and you're already... ¿Al menos estás usando condones?(Are you at least using condoms?) he expressed obviously freaking out about the whole situation. " Papa, I was not having sex, I told you not until I find the right person. Please don't freak out okay? I'm sorry you saw that I promise it will not happen again." I tried my best to explain. "This is Adrian, A, this is my dad. " I introduced the best I could without seeming awkward. " It's nice to meet you Sir and I apologize for engaging with your son before meeting you and without your permission." Adrian articulates himself. He then says he has to leave and bids us goodbye awkwardly placing a kiss on my cheek and walking out. What the fuck, my dad just walked in on me and my potential boyfriend making out.
