Made 0 friends and stuck with my friend who is in a different course forlunch 😭😭

Y/N's pov

Jinx was looking at me a lot during our... 'date'? Should i call it a date?

Im not sure...

I took a cookie off the shared plate and she watched me... I was holding the biscuits in my hand and she just observed me.

Not gonna lie but this feels nice... Appreciated in a way...

"You gonna take a cookie or not? You're just watching me"
"Oh- uh mhm yep." She stumbled and seemed awkward at my sudden speech

She took a biscuit and took a large chunk out of it, crumbs fell over her face and she just dropped them.

"Awe..." I say and she heard
"You finding this cute toots?"
"Uh... Maybe?" I blush and she stares at me with crumbs over her mouth.

I take a small bite out of my own cookie to show her how a 'normal' person does it and she huffed.

"Wait a sec... Lemme just-" i say as i move closer to her and reach her mouth with my thumb and clean her face.

"All done!" I say as i finish but she holds my hand in place

Before i can comprehend what just happened, she went in and kisses my lips

I leant in to her...

She stopped and was really red

"OH UHM- im sorry... I shouldnt have-"
"I enjoyed it." I say and i turn red to match Jinx

"So do we call this a date then?" I ask and she looks into my eyes
"If thats what you want~" she winks

I sit back down in my seat and just hide my face as it was turning more red by the second

Jinx leant over to me this time and moved my hands
"Let me see your pretty eyes Y/N"

She pulls off my head bandages and smiles

My half opened eyes with marks all over were exposed and i felt really embarrassed

"Hh... Uhh...j-Jinx..?" I try to speak but i mumble every word, probably cant even be heard as words at this point.

"Dont hide them... Your beautiful..." Jinx whispers and holds my cheek

I havent heard that since... Charley....

I smiled at her and leant my head into her hand, she smiled as well.

I felt happy with Jinx.

Maybe... I do have feelings for her... But... What happens if she turns back into my bully... What if she thinks this is a joke. What if I was a joke to her. What if...

"Y/N?!" Jinx says and moves my shoulders wildly to wake me up from my thoughts

My eyes slightly water and she notices. She moves her chair next to me and sits next to me.

She hugs me and big spoons me...

"I promise... I'll never be that Jinx again. I said that I wanted to start again and I MEAN it." She read my mind.

I nodded softly in her embrace and held her closer, I didn't want to think about the bad stuff that could happen.

I wanted to be with Jinx. The nice Jinx. No one else. Just her. I...

I need her.
