"You did not" I replied, my eyes watering in an instant

I saw how your eyebrows crashed together, your expression was curious, as if you expected it but not very soon, as if you knew it but didn't know I would too

"Kong.." Your voice clarified longing

I took a step back, my heart beating against my chest wildly, my hands sweating in my pockets as I shook my head momentarily

"Kongpob... It's kongpob" I replied

Your eyes twitched for a moment, what for? You couldn't expect for everything to be normal, appearing out of the blue, after six years, it couldn't be normal

"Kongpob, we can talk through it, let's not make a mess here in front of these pe..." Your words cut through my soul like a knife

This is what you cared about? The people in the cafe?

"You never really ever cared about me in the first place, did you?" I yelled

I don't know how my voice echoed so loud, I had gained the attention of evey single living soul in there

You looked around cautiously as if you were embarrassed of me, or as if you were wanting to hide, from the fact that we were now different

"Six years ago! All you did was care about that someone, for whom you flew all over to America and now, six years after! You care about your reputation, what about me? Was I ever what you showed I was to you? Did you ever care? Did you ever love me the way I.." Shit...I wasn't going to admit this

Your eyes widened for a second before you composed yourself, I hated this about you, the way you could always get a hold of yourself while I was a mess at times like this

"Let's just assume you never came back" I mumbled before turning away

I could feel the hot tears trickling down my cheek and I made no attempt of wiping them off, I needed to let myself bleed, I could always put on a bandage again...

And then again, you made no effort to stop me, and trust me, it hurt

I purple you 💜
