Let's start with the story.

Karan reached home. Changed his clothes and message teju that he reached and will sleep now as tired.
Teju didn't check the message.
She went to change and was sneezing constantly.
Her father heard that and gave her medicine and warm water and ask her to rest.
As soon as he left the room she took her mobile and saw Karan message.
She felt sad as he slept early. But also understand that he was tired.
After checking her books she also slept.
It was almost 3 in midnight when her father came to see her.
She was shivering and sweating.
He got worried and ran to her.
She was just calling Karan name.
Her father was bit shocked. But then he checked her head and it was burning.
He tried to wake her up but no use.
He took out thermometer from the medical kit and checked her temperature.
It was 104.. Still shw was just calling karan name.
Her father called the doctor and thought of calling karan also..
Karan was sleeping but his sleep was broken with phone vibration.
He saw the name and picked up the call in hurry.
Baba: hello Karan beta, sorry to distrub u at this hour.
Karan: no problem baba, tell me anything urgent. U sound worried.
Baba: wo actually, teju has got high fever and she is calling ur name only.
I had informed doc he will come in sometime. Thought of calling u as well.
Karan got panicked. She was fine till night and how come high fever.
He quickly took his wallet and car keys and told her father that he is coming.
He went to km and kd room and knocked.
Km opem the door.
Km: sunny what happened.. U came at this hour.
Karan: mom wo teju is not well. Her father haf called so I m going. Just called you to inform.
Km: anything serious. Should I also come..
Karan: no mom, I will go and check. If needed will call u. Ok.
Km: take care and keep me messaging.
I m worried for her.
Karan: ok mom. Bye.
He left.. Whole drive he was not able to keep calm.
In no time he reach her place and baba open the door.
Doc was checking her. Both went to her room.
Karan saw her and was panick a bit.
He didn't show it on his face as her father was already worried too much.
He composed himself and waited for the doc to say.
Doc: nothing to worry. Might be she got wet in rain so caught cold and fever. I m giving her Injection and medicine. She will be alright till tomorrow.
Let her rest.
Karan: ok doc. Thanks.
Baba wemt to see off the doc.
Karan goes near her. Her face was pale.
She was still shivering so he put duvet on her and was caressing her face. She became bit normal. He kept sitting there looking at her face.
Karan pov: what is this girl yaar. Today she was like a child. Enjoying the rain, beach and now see.. I cant see her unwell.
Plss princess get well soon. I like to see ur glowing face. The spark in your eyes. U don't look good like this.
Pls jaldi thik ho jaa baby. In this condition also she was calling my name. Means she was missing me so much. Aww my poor baby.

Her father came with cold water and cloth. Karan got up from there but her father gesture him to sit. Gave the water to Karan and he started doing her patti.
Her father was happy to see  Karan care for his daughter.
Karan: ye bilkul nahi sunti.. I told her today not to go in rain. But she didn't listen. Now see kitna fever aa gaya.
A lone tear dropped from his eyes.
Baba; I know sometimes she behavs like a kid.
Bahot jaldi badi ho gai meri beti.. To baki sab baccho jaisi kabhi masti ki hi nahi. She took care of me and this house at a small age. So didn't enjoyed her childhood. Sometimes this comes out..and she starts behaving like a child.
I have seen she has started enjoying her life now when u r with her.
Karan felt blessed that he became the reason.
Karan; u go and have some rest. I am here with her. Will take care.
Baba: no no I will also wait.
After a lot of insist by karan, her father went.
Karan pov: I am glad that u r opening up with me. I want u to enjoy ur life and whatever u have missed from childhood I promise to give that happiness to you.
I will make everything possible just to get smile on ur face baby. From today u r my baby.
He kept the cold water strips on her forehead and her fever was also reducing.

He also slept in the sitting position resting his head on the headrest of the bed.
After few hours his sleep was broken with a call.
He checked it was his mother call.
Km;: how is she. Should I come.
Karan: she si fine now. Don't worry. Fever is also reduce.
Km: thank god. U also take care. I will come there with breakfast.
Karan: ok mom.
They cut the call.
He went to her. Kissed her forehead and was sitting there holding her hand.
Her father came and saw this.
Her father pov: my daughter is so lucky that her guy is worried for her health.
He is still awake and taking care of her.
I am so happy and thank u God for sending the best life partner for my daughter. Now I don't have to worry about her future.
He will take good care of her.
