"You should ignore him. That pirate does nothing but spew lies. Besides, both you and Crow are fine." You stared at Peter in disbelief. You told him you were threatened and that's how he responds.

"He's always like this. He never takes anything seriously but he does protect us. He knows the pirates better than anyone." Crow said, looking up at you. Glancing back at Peter, you huffed and stormed off towards the sleeping area.

The book of fairytales was right where you'd left it in your sleeping alcove. You ran your fingers over the intricate cover design as a way of calming yourself down as you thought about what to do. Continuing to practice with the dagger was a given, especially now with Captain Hook targeting you. But what else?

Avoiding the beach wouldn't hurt but it wouldn't help either. He'd already proved that with the forest encounters. He was smart and definitely knew the forest better than you did. He probably knew the entire island more than you did.

You needed to explore more. You needed to learn and map out the entire island. And you definitely needed to be on guard at all times.
