(Before we begin, I just want to say that I'm sorry for the slow updates! School has been a real kick in the ass. But anyways, I'll try my hardest to update as much as I can!)
After a long day at work, all I wanted was to relax. Did I get that? Yes. Was I currently at a bar? Also yes. I watched as a beautiful creature rock his hips to the upbeat tune of the song. I was mesmerized by the way his slightly curly hair bounced with every turn of his head, the way his loose shirt rode up when he raised his hands.
Normally, I would shrug my shoulders and carry on talking with the bartender, but this man was a different type of addiction. I felt my heart race as he stopped dancing and sauntered over to the bar, sitting down next to me. Ordering a drink.
"Surprise me, I don't have to get up early in the morning."
He purred ever so slightly, with a wink towards the bartender. I fiddled with my empty shot glass, admiring the clear glass.
"Interesting glass? You seem very intrigued." I looked around before pointing to myself, raising my eyebrows as to silently ask, "me?"
With a simple nod and a smile from the mystery man, I felt my face heat up from embarrassment. Who else would he be talking to?
"Uhm, yeah! I'm just trying to figure out if I have the nerves to talk to a gorgeous man like you." The words flying out of my mouth before I could even think, making me mentally face palm. A faint chuckle was heard from wonder boy. As the bartender placed down, what seemed as a simple vodka, he looked at me with a slight smile, making my stomach do flips. I needed this man to either leave, or fuck me into next week. Preferably the second option. As he greedily gulped down his drink, I leaned over to him. Wanting to make conversations with him.
"So, what's your name?"
"It's Eddie, and yours?"
Eddie. That name flooded into my mind, fogging it. I loved that name, so simplistic. So fitting for him. Putting the shot-glass down, I push up my glasses. Needing something to do with my hands. "It's Richie, Richie Tozier."
My face feels likes it's on fire when he smiles warmly, as if he's talking to an old friend. I try my hardest to break eye contact, not wanting him to see the spreading blush that's invading my face. Eventually I succumb to his gaze, looking deep into his eyes. Noticing that his pupils are blown wide from the alcohol and lack of light. He slides in closer to me, turning his slightly muscular frame to face me fully.
"So, Mr. Tozier. What're you doing at a bar? Escaping the wife?" He questions with a chuckle, propping his head up on his elbow. "No actually, I'm gay."
His face turns into one of great content, like he was hoping that I would say that.
"Oh? Well what is it then?" The words flow into my ears, making me contemplate my next answer.
"I don't know actually, maybe to meet someone?"
My words were hushed, almost inaudible. I was embarrassed! I mean it was partially true, I was looking to meet someone.
"How about, I give you my number? I would love to talk to you more, Richie!" Eddie said while scribbling his number on a napkin, passing it over to me. I take it and smile. Before I could respond, he got up and walked over to the dance floor again. Jesus christ.

The Next DayIt's no shocker that I wake up with a killer headache. At least I woke up in my own house. I take it as a win. As I go to check my phone, I see a crumpled napkin with a number on it. It took me a second to remember why I had this. Slowly, but surely, the memories flooded back to me. Eddie, the bar, the music, his dancing, his eyes, his smile, his voice. Him. Oh god, him. The way he looked into my eyes as he talked made my heart race. I immediately texted the number, reminding him that it was me.
Richie Tozier:
Hey, it's Richie from the bar! You gave me your numberI waited a few minutes before I heard a familiar buzz come from my phone.
Eddie Kaspbrak:
Oh, hey! I was beginning to get worried you were going to text me, Richie from the bar!I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding, relaxing my mind from the worrying thoughts.
Richie Tozier:
I was wondering if you wanted to get to know each other? We didn't get to talk much at the bar.Eddie Kaspbrak:
I'd love that. Meet me at Starbucks near Exit 23! I'll be there in 30!Richie Tozier:
See you soon, Eddie. My face burns as I drop my phone on the bed, did I just get asked on a date?
(I don't really know how to continue this, so we're just going to leave it like this until I can think of something.)
