(Eddie's POV)

The coffee shop was moderately empty, considering it was 10:37 am. I walked inside, immediately smothered by the warm smell of fresh coffee. I order a small coffee and sit down, waiting for Richie Tozier to show up.

Oh boy, was he a sight for sore eyes.

The way his eyes sparkled in that dimly lit bar made my heart flutter. He was also funny, which is rare in hot guys. Thank god he was gay.

When I heard the chime of the door, I spun my head over to see who was walking in. There he was. The man, the myth, and the legend.

He had a simple outfit on, dark blue denim jeans paired with black sneakers and a grey shirt. His hair a curly mess and his glasses on the tip of his nose, waiting to be pushed up.

He looked around until he saw my familiar face, smiling when he did. I return it with an equally toothy grin, motioning him to come over. With in a second, he was seated next to me. Finally, I saw him push up his glasses. What's the point of wearing glasses if they're going to sit on the tip of your nose?

After a small, but noticeable, silence, I got the courage to say a single word. "Hi." That was all I could muster, my nerves getting the best of me. I felt a small blush crawl onto my face, making me even more giddy. I'm glad that I got the same simple but awkward response back. We looked into each others eyes, forgetting that talking was a good way to get to know each other better.

I heard my name getting called, so I stood up, leaving Richie to sit by himself. "That's me, I'll be back! Don't miss me too much!", I coo with a teasing tone, moving so his expression was out of my peripheral vision. I was much too embarrassed to hear or see his reaction. When I had my coffee in my hand, I tipped the barista and made my way back to Richie. To my surprise, he looked as shy as I was feeling. I let out a small laugh, sitting down.

"So, Mr. Tozier! Let's get to know each other, yes?" I say, interlocking my fingers together, as if to seem I was interviewing the man in front of me. "Yes of course, how shall I start?" Sitting up in his chair and imitating my hand placement, humoring me.

"I'll start! Hi, I'm Eddie Kaspbrak! I'm a gay male who's single, and my favorite drink is a hot cup of Irish Breakfast tea. How about you?"

A grin pulled at his lips, trying to remain this faux professionalism.

"I'm Richie Tozier, as you know. I'm also a gay man, and I'd say my favorite drink is coffee!"

As he was talking, I was slowly sipping at my beverage, savoring the sweetness of the cream and the bitterness of the coffee.

Finally breaking character, I smile, folding my hands in my lap. Our conversation went off from there, verging onto different topics. What Richie does for work, our favorite music artists, and even our past relationships. Whenever he got excited, his eyes would widen and he would have a big smile on his face. He was a handsome guy, I have to say that. But his personality was just indescribable. He was kind, compassionate, funny, and very very affectionate. I was lucky to have found this man.

I caught myself staring at his slightly chapped lips, wondering if he was a good kisser or not. My mind wondering to other things. How he was in bed, if he was gentle or rough, or a mix of both. Then wondering about his dick size. I felt my face burning at the thought of him. It was almost too much. That's when I heard Richie snap his fingers at my face.

"Hello? Earth to Eddie! Are you feeling okay?"

His deep, but gentle, voice made my heart race, amplifying my desired thoughts.

"Y-yeah! I'm fine! Sorry, I spaced out." I sputtered out, equal parts embarrassed and flushed.

"I could tell, you were staring at my lips." His chuckles rang through my ears, making my already burning face, feel on fire.
