KIDNAPPED

"SATONI PLEASE," she begged. "I'm scared, I think they are going to hurt the baby. Please, you have to find me. I'm located near a." The phone clicked off suddenly.

I listened to the voicemail over and over again. I couldn't believe this was happening to me right now. I thought that she was safe, but I was wrong. I felt like my life was being turned upside down. The Russian mafia told me that someone wanted to hurt Athena, but who? Why didn't I take what he was saying seriously. What the hell was wrong with me? If anything happened to her, I would lose my mind. We had an amazing night last night after getting Alonzo to bed. This couldn't be it, could it?

I restrained both her hands above her head before thrusting back into her. Deeper, Deeper, until she screamed my name. I continued my punishing pace, all the while sucking on her nipples, and nibbling on her neck. She arched her back and bit her lip as she took every inch of me. Her eyes rolled back and I smiled licking from her chin to her lips. She was all mine and I would have her as many times that I desired.

"Do you love me?"

"Yes," she moaned.

"Do you trust me?" I growled against her ear.

"Yes," she gasped, clenching around me.

"What the hell happened?" Roman burst into the room. He looked as if he was having a panic attack. I couldn't blame him; I was supposed to be keeping her safe.

I stood up slowly, "I thought that she was safe at the grocery store."

Adonis ran his fingers through his hair, "this is going to be a pain in the ass. Do you have any clues as to who would want to take her?"

"No, Lev told me that someone was trying to hurt her, but he didn't tell me who."

"What happened, Satoni?"

I looked at Roman and sighed, "she wanted to go to the store. She told me that she would be right back. I thought that since it was around the corner she would be fine. She told me that she didn't want to wait around for my security to get here. I let her go because I...I know that was stupid."

Adonis placed his hand on my shoulder, "everyone makes mistakes. We can't worry about what you did wrong. We have to worry about where she is and focus on saving her. Right now, they are both in trouble and we can't let her get hurt."

"Vain," Roman growled.

I was glad to know that he was thinking the same thing that I was thinking. "What would he gain from taking Athena. I thought that we had an agreement. Why would he come to California without telling me first? He isn't allowed on my territory. Who else knew that he was here?"
