After school Luke brought the essay over to Malie's house for her to read.
And while Malie was reading it her eyes started to water, she had no idea he felt like this at the beginning.
"Do you like it?" Luke asked while looking at Malie.
"No, I love it, it's beautiful." Malie said looking up at Luke.
And Malie hugged Luke.
"Thank you" she mumbled.
Luke started letting go of Malie to look her in the eyes and say "Since it's Friday night I wanted to take you somewhere, because I'm planning on staying with you forever Malice."
Malie nodded and said "Where?" As she slid on her shoes.
"It's a surprise." Luke said as they walked to Ashton's car, Ashton had let Luke borrow his car today.
Soon they arrived at Luke's house.
"Where are we?" Malie asked while looking out the window.
"At my house." Luke said unbuckling Malie's seatbelt for her.
"I could've unbuckled my seatbelt, but why are we here?" Malie mumbled.
"I know and because I want you to meet my mom." Luke said as the 2 got out of the car.
"Woah, uh I don't know Luke.." Malie trailed off.
"Come on, she will love you." Luke said as they walked to the front door, hand in hand.
Luke turned the front door's doorknob and they both entered the house, Luke shutting the door afterwards.
Liz was sitting on the couch in the living room and looked back to the door when she heard it close.
"Hey mom this is my beautiful girlfriend Malie." Luke said as they walked over to where Liz was.
Liz saw some scars on the girls arm.
"Hello, what's your name?" Liz asked smiling.
"I'm Malie" Malie said shyly.
"I'm Liz." Liz said.
"We'll supper is ready, do you want to join us Malie?" Liz asked and Malie nodded her head.
Luke and Malie walked over to the table and say down next to each other, while Liz went to the kitchen to grab the food.
The food she cooked was spaghetti.
The plates were already on the table, they were only 2 because she didn't expect Malie to be joining, so she let Malie have her plate and she would go get a new one.
When everybody was ready to eat, Malie started to eat and the food tasted incredible to her.
"This is amazing." Malie mumbled.
"Thanks hun." Liz said.
Luke just kept stuffing his face.
