August 2023

Hi, I just wanted remind everyone that this book is NOT MY WORK and that it was only posted strictly for offline reading purposes. And to make an update that the main translators of the story got hit with copyright claims. The main group, Mystical Series, had a bunch of their translations taken down over the past few months, this novel being one of them. So they ended up dropping the novel from what I can find out so far.

And yes, there are many websites that do have this novel uploaded, but they are all basically stolen reuploaded translations from this original translation team's website. And it does not look like there are any teams that are going to be picking up this novel soon.

I will make requests to various discord novel translation servers that I'm in to pick up this novel, but it's not a guarantee that they will pick it up since they all have ongoing works, there's a limited number of translators in each team, they also have their own life cause this is more of a hobby for them, and not to mention there's also many backed up requests for other novels already.

Unfortunately, I am not Korean nor do I know how to read Korean, or else I would've translated it myself. So until a new group picks the novel or the manhwa gets a green light and goes into production, I will not be uploading anything new anytime soon.

September 2024:

As of right now the novel has not been picked up by any now translating groups so has remained incomplete in English indefinitely for now.

But on other good news a new artist has picked it up to make into a manhwa (comic for those who don't know what it is.) There is 26 parts out so far. So if you still wanna read it I would suggest to let it marinate for a while for chapters to accumulate and binge all at once.

Warning it does not have the same artstyle as the promo shots I had posted before but I do think it's still a very nice artstyle to read.

You will be able to Google the title "Why Do You Love Me When I Refuse Your Request?" to find the manhwa on various websites, I am not providing any specific website to prevent it from being taken down as that has been a big problem in the past.

LATEST UPDATE November 2024

I now bring you some very good news for those who still want to read this novel. A new group has now picked up the novel and is translating it from the very start. They update about 3 times a week. They have currently translated about the first 50 chapters. 

I do prefer their translation, so in the upcoming week when I have time, I will be updating the previously translated chapters with their new translations. 

Sorry to those who just picked up this novel and are currently reading it, but I promise the translation is just better and it makes the experience much more pleasant reading.
