Run.

Run away Ciara.

Wake up.

Get up. Get up.

Now!

"Ah!" came from the woman as she gasped for air. Panting.

Her eyes flickered from corner to corner, scanning the room for any intruders.

"Merda." She sighed as she ran a hand over her long black hair.

She got up, halting once she came face to face with the mirror. A frown appearing as she stared at her body. Her dull eyes as red as blood, her pale skin, her thin complexion if any where to mistake her as human, they would've thought she was a living corpse. Hypothetically speaking, she is.

She heaved a sigh as she made her way to a mini fridge near her bed. She bent down and grab two blood bags, one consist of type O and the other type A. She looked at the two before shrugging as she mumbled "Type O it is. I prefer it anyway."

She bent back down as she stored back the other blood bag and grab herself a wine glass. She poured the red sticky substance in as she inhaled the fresh scent. She bitterly smiled. "cazzo di sangue animale."

She made her way to her balcony as she eyed the sunrise. Her eyes glistened as dawn rose, the birds began chirping as howls of the wolves followed, indicating the cold, rainy night, ended too soon.

Light footsteps began making way to her room, she knew who the stranger was as she did not bother to turn. The man made his way to her and stood beside her. "Sorella gemella" he greeted.

She turned to him before bringing her cold gaze back to where it once was. "What is it Fratello?" Not bothering to look at him as he tilted his head.

"Woah, woke up at the wrong side of your coffin aren't we?" He teased as she glared at him.

"If you're here to tease and nag me all day Caspian, Allora ti consiglio di perderti."

Hearing her words Caspian began chuckling "My Sorella, you gotta stop behaving that way, you'll get wrinkles." He cringed as those last words left his tongue. She rolled her eyes as she mumbled "Not in a million years I would."

"Ciara, ascolta, mi sto solo prendendo cura di te come farebbe normalmente un gemello. E se questa aura fredda che hai ancora continua così, diventerà piuttosto malsana, non credi?"

Ciara turned to her brother, eyeing him as something clicked in her mind "What do you want Fratello? Tell me honestly." She demanded rather than questioned.

He once again sighed as he pinched his temple clearly not knowing how to deal with his sister any longer. "Go with me. No. Come with our family tomorrow night. Attend the Blood Moon Ball the wolves and us vampires agreed on."

Ciara smiled and started chuckling before she offered blood to her brother "Blood dear Fratello?" Caspian kept his cool and gave her the look.

Her smile fell flat as her eyes returned to its original cold, icy demeanor. "You know Fratello, being with one wolf already makes my blood boil yet alone being with thousands. Can you really trust me without it ending in a bloodbath?" She raised her brows as she took a sip of her blood wine.

"Are you serious?" He scoffed

"Fratello you're really unsuited for the rage of war. Quit being soft."

"Listen to me for once Ciara. This Blood Moon Ball is as important as our life. It will be a treaty of peace towards both kind. Knowing our history with the wolves, being there is already bloody risky. All I ask of you is that you attend as what you are ordered to as the Princess of Lazarus!"

She turned her attention back to the risen sun. Had the curse not been lifted, they'd be ashed by now. History? How dare they bring up history!

She let out a cold breath as she elegantly swayed her cup in circles making the blood follow its movement. "See how vast yet beautiful the sun is Caspian?"

Caspian turned his head and gaze at the sun. He nodded his head as he was mesmerized and captivated by its beauty.

"To think our kind wasn't able to experience the glow of the sun for centuries, like we are now. Think about how we use to hid in deep dark corners, afraid that we find ourselves burning to ashes for the sin we were once oblivious of. A sin not committed by our kind, yet the blame falls on us. The Vampires."

Caspian groaned as he turned his attention back to his sister. "Not this again Sorella!"

"If not then what? Forgive them? Forget how we suffered just because a goddamned minister got pissed by how we once worked with the wolves or how our Grandfather got friendly with their King?! To forget how we got blamed for a conspiracy committed by their kind?! Why should we suffer while they get to enjoy the sunlight only worrying about a damn blood moon that never once came?! È fottutamente spregevole!" She huffed pissed, her cold aura vanishing and was replaced with anger and hatred. Her bloodshot eyes glows crimson as she eyed her brother ready to kill.

"I can't do this! You can't ask of me for this brother! It's too much!" Before another word left her brothers mouth she ran out of her room within seconds, leaving a sigh of defeat to leave Caspian's lips.

She ran in lightning speed as she reached the mountains. Her screams of agony and hatred filled and echoed though the woods as she vented her anger killing anything that crosses her path.

This is what became of her. A monster. No. Much worse than a monster. A Vampire. And she hated it. She hated how her kind continued to hide under the protection of the witches. With a shred of confidence left.

Above all she hated the wolves. The thought of their existence makes her frozen dead heart beat in anger. How could such a monster live a joyous life while them the innocent gets to live in the shadows of their so called History?

"Lupi mannari del cazzo. Ti auguro la morte."
