ollie bearman - enemies to lovers

pov: you're a racing driver for prema in formula 3. your teammater are ollie bearman and arthur leclerc.

you and arthur were best friends. even if you only got to know eachother two years ago, the two if you were now inseparable. the other prema f3 driver, ollie bearman, and you just didn't seem to get along though. you were enemies from the beginning. the tensions between you both got less throughout the weeks, but you still weren't friends.

"OLLIE! STOP IT, NOW." you shouted as the brit kept on trying to splash you with water. "See what you've done to my hair. It looks terrible now." you kept complaining. "Jeez, chill. it looks fine." he responded in a very calm voice. Since you decided you've had enough of him, you just rolled your eyes and walked away to find arthur. you're currently in zandvoort, the second-to-last race weekend of the season.

"Hey y/n, you alright?" Arthur greeted you. "No. This stupid idiot sprayed me with water and now my hair looks horrendous."you answered, holding up some of you hair to show him. "You must be talking about ollie then, right?". You nodded. "y/n trust me, it looks good. no need to worry." he said, you letting out a sigh. "god why does he have to annoy me all the time?" you asked cluelessly. Arthur had a sneeky smile on his face. "Well, i watched you guys the last few weeks... and i think he maybe likes you." his answer had me too stunned to speak. "How would he like me? He literally tries to get on my nerves every single second?!" you curiously wondered. "Maybe that's his kind of love language... and actually, if we're already speaking of feelings..." i gave him a weird look while he continued speaking. "I think you like him as well. I noticed the smile you have while speaking with him and the stutters you have.". After a long minute, you were finally able to say something. "Arthur... you are crazy. You're absolutely crazy. I obviously don't like ollie." you replied, leaving his room.

As you were walking to the hospitality, you just couldn't stop thinking about arthurs' words. Was he right? Do you adore him? And does he adore you?

A few minutes of thinking later, you decided to focus on the racing and just forget about the conversation you just had. It was only half an hour until the sprint race will be starting. You were already dressed, listening to some music in your drivers room, while ollie and arthur were changing into their suits. You fulfilled your usual routine, then entered the car. You were starting from p18, after an unlucky qualifying. Arthur started from p5, ollie from p14. And then finally, it was ' lights out and away you go'.

You had the best start out of all the drivers, right after the start you were in 15th place. Now mr. bearman was in front of you. Through drs you thought it'd be pretty easy to overtake ollie, but you were wrong. As you were just overtaking your teammate, he touched your wheel and you spun and crashed into the barriers. It was a really tough incident. Ollies' car was on top of yours, both stuck in the gravel.

Moments after, the marshalls arrived and asked if you were okay. You heard ollie response with a 'yes', you were too shokced to answer though. You felt a horrible pain in your ribs. The marshalls helped you get out of the car and quickly brought you to the medical car, into the medical centre.

*ollies' pov*
you just got out of the medical centre and back to the prema motorhome, where you finally saw angelina. "ANGELINA?" you screamed. "hey, is y/n alright? Is she out of the medical centre yet? Did she got hurt?" you couldn't stop asking questions. "hi ollie, glad to see you're okay. y/n got taken to the hospital. she most certainly broke her ribs. Also, she wasn't able to talk and your car hit the halo really bad, she may also have a concussion. Your heart skipped a beat. You were so worried. "I feel so so bad. I hit her and now she got hurt, im so so sorry i feel terrible i-". "I know." Angelina interrupted you. "It's okay.". "I'll drive to the hospital, okay?" you added. Angelina nodded and so you drove there as quickly as possible.

Whilst your drive you overthought everything. How bad you feel, that you made a terrible mistake... all that stuff. But it was only now you realised that you worry more about her than just a teammate. This was the moment you realised you do really like her, or even love her. Nothing else mattered to you in that moment than just being with her and knowing she's alright.

As you finally arrived in the hospital and made your way to her room, you immediately felt a little better knowing you'd be next to her in only a few seconds. You entered the room and saw y/n.

*y/ns' pov*
"Ollie?" you asked in a confused voice. He ran towards you and grabbed for your hand. "Y/n... i'm so so sorry...". "It's okay, it was an accident.." you comfortingly said. "Not only that, also for annoying you nonstop for the past year. I realised i only did it because..." you paused. A few seconds of silence enter the room. "Because of what?" you curiously asked. "Because i like you. Or even love you, y/n." he explained. your heart was racing and you felt your cheeks go red. "I- ollie that was so sweet! i'm so glad you said that, cause i like you too..." you admitted. Ollie had a huge smile on his face now, before gently stroking his hand over your cheek and kissing your lips. You both couldn't stop smiling, eventhough you were in so much pain.

After an hour of admiring each other, you were finally allowed to lesve the hospital. It turned out your ribs weren't broken, just bruised. Ollie took you back to the track. When you arrived, the race was obviously over and arthur, rene rosin and angelina were standing in the motorhome talking. The two of you walked hand in hand over to them. While angelina and rene were in shock, arthur just smiled and said "i knew it.".

You all just rambled about the accident, but also about your new boyfriend. It was one of those moments you hoped would never end.
