but before i get started, i wanted to point out something. i currently accept every request and try my best to fullfill them as quickly and good as possible. it can take me a lot of time and since i'm still in school, i'm sacrificing my free time to write them. so if i write yours, i don't think it's fair if you just don't reply anything on my message that it's out. the showing no reaction part makes me feel very disappointed. please just don't do that. if you don't like it tell me, but please say something at least.

that was just one thing i wanted to get off my chest and also this doesn't address everyone. most of you are really kind and that makes me love writing one-shots all over again. :)

hey! premier for zhou guanyu today!

pov: you just got hired as a photographer in the alfa romeo f1 team

today is finally the first day you'll be working as a photographer in alfa romeo. although you've had some pretty cool jobs, this is by far the best one yet. besides your passion for taking pictures, you're also a huge fan of formula one, so this is the perfect job for you.

you walked into the paddock for the first time, since you haven't been able to attend a grandprix yet. you scan your lanyard and the screen goes green, you enter. you make your way straight to the alfa romeo motorhome, of course you don't wanna be later for work ;).

'good morning!' you greet the team. 'i'm y/n y/l/n, the new photographer', you add. 'oh yes welcome y/n, nice to meet you!' frederic vasseur welcomes you happily. 'my pleasure' you reply.

he shows you around the garage and the pitlane, before heading into the driver rooms. 'so, i bet you would like to meet the drivers you'll be shooting?' the team boss asks. 'absolutely!'. he opens the door and you see valtteri and guanyu. 'hey boys, this is y/n, the new photographer i told you about.' he introduces you to them. 'hey! nice to meet you!' they both say. 'you too! i'm looking forward to work with you guys!' you respond.

the first day got by really quickly. you were able to take your first shots, but you mostly had to figure the whole business out. it was a bit overwhelming, but you loved it already.

the more gps you attended, the easier it got. this was now your fourth gp working for alfa romeo.

zhou guanyu's pov:

'i really like the new photographer. she seems so nice! just one thing that seems weird to me is, i feel like she keeps on taking the most photos of me... i know this sounds weird but ..' you explain to valtteri. 'man honestly, i feel the same way. she's always around you taking pictures of either you or your car' bottas agrees with you. 'well, maybe that's what the team told her? i don't know, let's just forget about it' you drew a conclusion.

after free practice two, i went into my drivers room to change and then go to the motorhome to join a teams meeting. just when i left my room, i heard y/n speaking to somebody on the phone next door. at this point i don't know why, but i got madly interested in what she said, so i decided to listen to it a bit. only for a short period of time. -WHAT? you have a crush on zhou? awww that's so sweet bestie!- I suddenly heard her friend shout on the phone. oh. she has a crush on me? well, those were words i wasn't expecting. don't know why, but all i could think of is go to my teammate to tell him. so that's what i did next.

'valterri? are you in there?' i knocked on his door. 'come in mate' i heard him say. 'hi. you won't believe what i just heard. i noticed y/n in a phone call, so i went to listen to it and-' valtteri cut you off. 'you listened to her? why'd you do that?' he asked with a little cheeky smile on his face. 'i don't know, but that's not the point. anyway, i heard her say she has a crush on me..' you blurted out. valtteri's eyes widened and he let a gasp of shock out. 'WHAT?' he almost screamed. 'shhh be quiet!' i instructed. 'sorry. so what are you gonna do? ask her out? do you like her?' he asked me tons of questions. 'gosh i don't know, maybe...' i guessed.

back to y/n's pov:

it was after party time. friday was over and the show was about to begin. like every friday, i made my way to bottas and zhou to meet up with them. we always meet before we go there, but this time, only guanyu was there. 'hey! where's valtteri?' i curiously asked. 'not here' he dryly responded. 'why?' i just said. 'doesn't matter, but i figured out another plan..' he began. 'so what's that?' he made me a little nervous. 'how about i take you out. dinner, just you and me? we can go to the party another time.' he offered. i was in shock, my eyes glancing while i blushed. 'are you kidding?' i made sure. 'no, why would i?' he asked. 'well then i'd love to!' i accepted his request.

wasn't that a nice day. getting asked out by my crush isn't too bad, huh?
