you were on a bed and next to yours were rows of other bed almost like a hospital. the walls were white you were still looking around and then the shoji doors slide open "ara ara your awake." a petite girl with a butterfly hairpin said "who are you?!" you said as you sat up "well.. allow me to intruduce myself..my name is kocho shinobu whats yours?" she said as she tilted her head

"...l/n....l/n y/n.." you said being on gaurd  "oyokata-sama will see you now" the girl mentioned as she stepped away from the door and a few seconds a man that has purple wrinkles at the top part of his face

"hello my name is kagaya ubuyashiki but please call me oyokata" his aura was like a dove, kind and graceful "your l/n y/n right?" the male said "...yes" you said "i'd like to ask would you like to become a demon slayer?"he said "demon...slayer..?" you repeated "yes" he said you thought about it "do i get to sleep?" honestly you didnt sleep well in the woods he nodded 'welp good sleep imma say yes' "yes i will be under your care" you said "thank you but first you need to pass final selection" "whats that?" you said "final selection is when you will be in a moutain filled with demons and you have to survive for seven days. final selection will start in a year or two " he said as he got out and left you on the hospital bed

you got bored of just sitting around so you decided to look around and as you were looking you saw a girl with a side ponytail and another butterfly clip 'whats up with butterfly's?' you thought

you went up to the mystery girl "hi" the girl slightly flinched and turned around the girl had a gentle smile like the shinobu girl 'i didn't sense the boys presence' the girl thought

the girl pulled out her coin and flipped it

"hello im kanao tsuyuri'

"im y/n l/n, say why do you use a coin?"

the girl flips it again "it helps me make decisions"

"but..arent you are your own person is that coin you?"

the girl reached out for her coin but you gently held her hand and said " without your coin "

" ...no " the girl quietly answered " yeah because that coin doesnt cotrol you nor decides your fate trust your heart and gut " you said as you left towards your room that was near the garden

as you found your room you plopped onto the bed and slept without issue
