Regret and Revenge part 2

*POV Issei*

"Who are you?" I asked the white hair girl I front of me.

She just stood there for a minute. Her face got red fast. She was looking at my chest. That's when I realized that my shirt was off.

"S-sorry, my name is vali." She sputtered.

I nodded and tried to move. Once I did my chest pain flared up. I grabbed my chest and took a few deep breaths to try and help. Vali moved and quickly put her hand on my hand, and started using healing magic. Shortly after, the pain subsided and I could breath normally again.

"Thanks." I said.

She nodded. I laid back down and closed my eyes. Not even a second goes by and a crimson light shines through my eye lids. I opened them to see a crimson gauntlet on my left hand.

"Hello, partner. How do you feel?" Draigg asked.

"Better, but my chest still hurts." I said gently rubbing it.

"That is because of your bloodline. Once you have the power from it, there is sorta like a curse that comes with it. One part of your body is under pain until someone who has strong enough healing magic, heals it." He explained.

I nodded. Then Vali walked over and sat down beside me. She faced me and I could see that she was on the verge of crying.

"I heard about what happened to your parents." She softly spoke.

My chest pain started coming back. It felt as if that was the source of my pain. She slowly brought her hand to my chest. She started using a small amount of magic. It dulled the pain and allowed me to relax a bit.

"It's fine. There in a better place. I just hope I can make them proud." I quietly said.

She brought me into a hug. At first I was surprised but then, slowly wrapped my arms around her and brought her closer. Then followed the tears. She didn't seem to mind. She just held you tighter.

*Time skip*

After a few minutes of hugging, vali decided issei needed to learn how to use his sacred gear.

After washing his face and getting properly dressed, he walked with vali to a large room.

After a couple more steps she motions for issei to stand in a spot and then she walks about 30 feet away.

"Alright, we are going to begin your training. Do you know what your sacred gear can do?" She asked.

"Yes, every 10 seconds it doubles my power. If I get strong enough, I don't have that limit."

"Good, so you know the basics of it." Right behind her a pair of white wings appeared.

"This is my sacred gear. Divine dividing. It allows me to divide thr energy of anything by half each time and with the power I divided, I use that power to sustain myself with it." She explained.

"Cool." I said.

"Alright, I want you to summon your sacred gear." She said.

I nodded and then like I did before, focus my power into my right arm. After a brief flash of crimson light, the boosted gear was there. But it was different.

"I was not expecting that." Said draigg.

"What do you mean?" I asked. Vali, Albion, and me were curious.

"Your sacred gear is already in 4th liberation. Which means it is in one of its final evolutionary states." He explained.

'A/N I know it seems like I'm making him op as he'll right in the beggening, but remember, the gear responds to the emotions of the user. Not only that, with his blood line and how powerful he got from that, with all those factors he is already in the top 10 most powerful beings list. But this as well has its downfalls. I will make a top 10 most powerful beings list shortly after I'm done with this chapter.' END

"Damn. Already this powerful." Spoke vali.

She then put on a smile. She finally has an opponent who can push her to her limits.

"Alright, issei. How much do you know of self defense? Do you have any martial arts experience?" She asked.

"No, I was never trained or even had got into a fight." He answered.

She sighed, but she was expecting this.

"Alright, let me teach you the basics for today. Tomorrow we will focus on training with your sacred gear."

"Alright, let's do it." He said smiling.

'To think he just saw his parents dead bodies and he can still smile. Truly he has a kind soul.' Spoke draigg.

'Well, suffering and pain make men stronger.' Spoke scorpion.
