A reveal

Animal in Me - Solence

The idea: Faunus character, not that anyone would know this till now. Has hidden their trait(s) knowing that they'd never reach their full potential thanks to bigoted and racist people. This is them hitting their peak and deciding to go out with as big of a bang as possible... this is my take.

Yin looked at his beanie in his hands, knowing he wouldn't have to wear it for much longer and yet, he almost wanted to keep it around. They'd been through so much together, kept this secret for so much longer than they had any right too. It felt wrong to just throw it away now,

"Keep staring at that hat and I'd think you actually like it," Azure said, making Yin start slightly and throw the beanie over his ears quickly. The glare he threw at the drummer could have melted steel.

"I knew i shouldn't have told you guys about this early," Yin snarks, hands coming up to try and sooth the now aching appendages under their covering. His bandmates laugh and join him as they make their way out on stage.

"Good evening Vale!!!" Yin calls out, mic held out to the crowd to get the response. The crowd responds, causing the band to grow massive grins as the stage shakes beneath their feet at the volume.

"Good to know that everyone can hear me just fine, makes this all a lot easier if the mic goes out on me tonight. Now, some of you may have noticed that we're short a member of the band tonight. Unfortunately, Redd and I had some unsolvable issues and he decided to take his leave. Not to worry though, I will be covering the guitar tonight!" Yin presses on, grin still present on his face as the crowd cheers.

"When are you taking that ugly hat off?" A person yells from the crowd and Yin puts a hand on his beanie, a shocked look on his face.

"It's ugly? Huh, guess Schucci is ugly now..." he replies, turning to his buddies who shrug and play along.

"Anyway, to answer your question, the hat comes off tonight, I hope everyone's ready for a suprise!" Yin calls as everyone starts the concert off.

"The animal in me..."

"Come a little closer

Yin gripped his beanie, his best friend at this point and slung it off his head into the air, revealing his fox ears to the world as he felt the mic cut out in his hand and he threw it aside before belting out the next part from his heart.

"When I look in the mirror, I know what I see

"Animal,"
"Animal,"
"Animal,"
"The animal in me!"

The stage and the concert center were quiet, almost enough to hear Yin's heart doing its damn best to smash its way out of his chest. He reaches out and picks up the beanie from where it landed a little bit in front of him before turning to face the crowd once more before taking a deep breath,

"Good Night Vale, Two Tailed OUT!"
Then the stage lights cut off and everyone started yelling as Yin and the rest of the band made their way off stage.
