Chapter 22 Truth family isn't always by blood.

Slender's POV

I enter the city. I know we're Ivan is he's at Jane's house. I make my way to Jane's place, I get weird looks by people i ues my hoodie to cover my eyes. I make it to her house I knock twice before she opens the door. "Oh hello slender and what brings you to my lovely home?" I sigh. "Listen Jane is Ivan here?" She nods then let's me in. She closes the door and I see Ivan sitting on the couch. "Hey slender did you take care of that thing you need to do?" "Ivan let me tell you something you know I'm a jinchuriki a tailed beast right?" He looks at me confused. Jane joins him on the couch. "Ivan do you know why tailed beast exist?" Ivan thinks before he speaks. "A tailed beast is born into a village right?" I show a little smile. "No a tailed beast is created. When i was born the 12 tailed wolf spirit was put inside of me. And I told only zoro this. Was I was 5 my mother got sick she would always read to me but when she got sick she wasn't able to read to me anymore. She promised me that when she got better she would read to me again." I close my eyes and breath in deep then out and I open my eyes. " She died was I was young. After that my father had me train so I could control the tailed beast in me. But it would go berserk many life's die every time. I was deemed a failure a threat to the village and myself. There was only one who cared for me who loved me, it was my mother's brother and the task that he was given was to kill me." Ivan and Jane have a shocked look.
"He tried but the twelvetails protected me and I attack my enemy. But when I removed the mask that he wore it was him Casper my mother's brother the only one who I thought cared for me. He told me I did good. he told me that it was my Father who gave him the order to kill me. He told me that my father wanted to test if my emotions ran out of control that I would be able to controlled the twelvetails. But I was able to I had just killed the one person who cared for me. The twelvetails went berserk and I was deemed a waste. My father the chief and the village elders had decided that I was to much of a danger so I was kick out. Then I meet Yuri Zoro and Natsu. I won't go into detail about that but after that we went are separate ways I think we are 13 or 14." "Slender why are you telling me this and are mother was alive until you killed them."
"Ivan after me and the other's separated I was found by your family your mother was pregnant with you Luna was already born and a baby. I told them I was a war orphan and they took me in. then a few months later you were born and once I saw you I wanted to protect you and little Luna. I told them what I was and I would protect them. But I failed Luna died it felt like I did to. I-i didn't kill them Ivan I wanted you to hate me. I wanted you to hate me so you would be stronger. Stronger then I ever was so you could protect your family. Because I never could." Ivan look at me then speaks.
"What'd you mean there not dead but I saw them there were."
"No Ivan it was one of my sharingan abilities I can make hallucinations that looks and feels so reall. I knew if I did that you would hate me and I was okay with that....but you didn't hate me you loved me just like a brother should." I fell to my knees crying.
"I FAILED YOU BROTHER I MADE YOU FEEL SO MUCH PAIN I MADE YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU WERE ALONE. And I'm the one who's alone now I'm so sorry." I feel something no someone Ivan he.... hugging me B-but why? after everything I've told him? I thought he would hate me. Than I feel someone else I look up tears in my eyes and see Ivan and Jane hugging me. I hug them back we break away. I wipe the tears from my eyes and calm down.
"Slender why didn't you tell me sooner and it there alive then we're?"
"I had them relocate there here in the city if you want to meet them than I'll take you to see them" Ivan nods his head.
"Hey slender the others will be back soon so I think we should wait for them."
"No Jane me and Ivan will go and.... You'll stay here okay?"
"Yeah okay."
