"Sometimes you think you want to disappear but all you really want is to be found"

*Tejasswi*

The next morning Tejasswi woke up early to a pink dawn. She got up quietly, careful not to make any noise and wake Karan who was still softly snoring on the bed. Moving the curtain aside, she peered outside through the window. As their hotel was on the outskirts of the city, with almost no buildings around, they had a clear view of the skyline.

She could see the sun rising in the east and the moon setting on her west. She chuckled at the irony of the duality.

Even if you are not ready for the day, it cannot always be night.

She took out one disposable coffee cup from the stack which was provided to them by the hotel yesterday amongst other necessities when they both tested negative in the first Anti-Rapid test.

She sat down on the chair with her cup of warm water, scrolling through her phone. She opened Instagram, an app she barely used other than for work collaborations. Arshita, Manish and many of her friends had posted pictures from the wedding.

She stared a little longer at the third picture. It took her back to her college years. How Arshita and her used to mock plan their weddings together. From what designers they would wear, what kind of food would be served, the colour themes, to what flowers would be used for decor. Everything.
