{13} - {Follow}

I heard that familiar teleporting sound. Evan was back. I was unusually happy, which was surprising because the only things that made me genuinely happy anymore were finding pretty flowers and (Non-aggressive) wolves.

"I'm back"
Suppressing my happiness
"You were gone...for a while"
I paused and stood up
"Anyways, I've decided I'll give Will(Other cat) to the village. Since he has a collar, he probably belongs to someone"

"Aren't you banned from the village?" Evan said slightly confused. He was right. "If they don't let me in then I keep their cat," I said in a monotone voice. Evan simply nodded in response. "Well you should probably get going" I was about to say something but then I realized.

"Wait how did you know I was banned from the village, I never told you that?" He slowly looked away "Like I said you should get going" he spoke fast  "ok bye, see you tomorrow" he waved goodbye and teleported away somewhere.

"Come on Parmesan" I gently used my foot to push him ahead, Will usually followed him, so I didn't bother to move him.

"I'm going to the village to return your little friend, okay Parmesan ?" The little beige cat ignored me and walk towards the house. "...".

I started walking towards the village. It seemed everyone was gone since no one was there. "I guess nobody is here." I opened the door to one of the houses, there were bookshelves and a table, and that was it. "Not much huh?" I said looking through the books. I was looking for a specific book but I didn't expect it to be here.

Oh...nevermind

(Evan's POV)

Following them isn't creepy right? Probably.

I looked through their glass pane windows, "Not home?".

I felt something touch my leg, "Mew"

"A- oh hi Parmesan" I cut off my scream and looked down at the feline. "Do you know where Y/N is?" The cat looked at me and turned around looking back to make sure I was following. I walked behind him, whilst he led me towards what looked like the village.

"You seem a bit too smart for a cat," I said jokingly.

I finally approached the village. Nobody was there. Normally I felt a little scared getting close to the village but it was empty and quiet so it felt fine this time.

Parmesan jumped onto a tree close to the window of a house. I stood next to the tree and looked through the window. "Y/N!", I watched them looking at books, they seemed to be looking for something specific, they didn't seem to notice me since the window I was looking through was on the side of the house.

After about 2 minutes of looking, they took a book off the shelf and left the house.

The book was purple and shiny. It looked like one of the books that travelers write and leave behind for others, I can't read so I couldn't exactly see what the cover said, but even if I could it wouldn't matter since their arm was covering the title.

"Mrew"
