A Cry for Attention

Chap 1

Jenny's oldest daughter, Izzie had been acting up, and she had no idea why.

'I wish I knew what was bothering her.' She said to Brian.

'Maybe she's just going through a faze?' Brain suggested.

'Maybe. Well, have a good day, sweetie!'

The next day, Izzie pretended to be sick so she could stay home from school, and it took Jenny hours to figure it out.

'Izzie, I need to know. Why have you been acting out all week?' She kindly asked.

'Because you never pay attention to me anymore! It's always about the new baby! It's like I've suddenly become invisible.' Izzie exclaimed.

Jenny was expecting her 2nd baby in a few months, and she and Brian had been very busy not just with preparations but with the inn.

That evening.

'I guess we have been neglecting her lately.' Brain said when Jenny told him.

'And it'll probably be like that after the baby comes.' Jenny replied.

'What are we to do?'

Later.

'Izzie, we're sorry about making you feel neglected, what can we do to help?' Jenny asked.

'maybe you and Dad can take some time off to spend time with me? Like you both used to do.' Izzie replied.

'I think we can manage ore time on the weekends.' Brain said.
