"Jungkook..." He tried to start between his ragged breathing, eyes pressed together with a grimace of nervousness.
"It's okay-" Jungkook was quicker to assure the alpha, but Namjoon also interrupted him, contradicting his statement.
"It's not. I lost control." He said turning his face around to look at Jungkook.
The omega had pulled the sheets to cover his body, tight grip on the fabric, body tense, and eyes locked on the ceiling.
"It's my fault..."
Namjoon had warned him, but he really had no idea what he was getting into. No idea at all! Namjoon shifted on the bed, laying on his side and feeling his hands tingling with want to touch Jungkook, to hold him...
"It's not your fault, you didn't know- fuck, listen to me. Look at me." He asked, waiting for the omega to slowly turn his face and then his whole body towards Namjoon.
He had doe eyes, lost, scared. Not scared of Namjoon per se, but frightened of how overwhelming the sex had been. He wasn't vanilla, far from it, but he didn't like to lose control. Not one bit.
"You're in your heat, even if you had laid down with an alpha before, it's not your fault for what happens. I thought I would be stronger, and that was my mistake." He tried to calmly explain, and a frown grew on Jungkook's forehead.
"As you said, you lost control, how is that your fault?" Jungkook wasn't contesting the alpha, just trying to understand, and he sensed Namjoon had something to say, something he lacked to inform that could maybe change things between them.
"Because-"
"Because?" Namjoon let out a long sigh, deviating his gaze from the omega. Jungkook could smell his nervousness even amidst all the abundant odor of sex that permeated the bedroom. "Because?" Jungkook insisted, voice softer as he let out calming pheromones.
Namjoon closed his eyes and inhaled the pacifying perfume, relaxing immediately and letting his tongue slip out the truth he had been holding back.
"Because I already liked you and wanted you way before we even met."
