Jungkook was tired. It had been a long day and all he wanted was to take a shower, eat some yummy food and go to bed, but he knew what awaited him at home; an alpha entering his rut.
The CEO's stomach sank with nervousness as the numbers raised on the dashboard of his building's lift. A few more floors and he would be home. Was Namjoon already in a rut? Would his wolf feel immediately aroused by Namjoon's smell? Would he be able to even take a shower and eat something before having to get railed into oblivion?
Jungkook's mind was full of questions, and maybe a bit of regret because it had been a really bad day.
But he also was really excited. Well, not him, his wolf.
She was jumping inside him, yapping in the back of his mind, eager. His steps were slow, calculated, his nervousness trespassing through his scent gland, infesting the hallways. He would certainly get a call from the concierge, warning him because a neighbor complained!
So, in order to avoid problems, he hurried to step inside his apartment, punching the code on the pad and pulling the door open.
The first thing he noticed was the scent-blocker candles on the entrance and there was no sign of Namjoon, no sound either.
It was almost like he was not there, wasn't for his alpha perfume permeating Jungkook's home. The CEO could tell that Namjoon was not in a rut yet, but his smell was so strong that not even the scent candles were able to block it completely.
"You're home!" Jungkook jumped at the sudden appearance, having to hold his breath and his wolf as Namjoon came closer.
He sounded excited, cute even, and Jungkook fought his urge to smile softly, meanwhile, his wolf wagged her tail and lapped her tongue out.
"Hm."
"You seem tired." Jungkook hummed again and as he was about to open his mouth to apologize, Namjoon cut him straight. "How about you go take a shower, and then I'll give you a massage?"
"What about your rut?" He asked with a frown, as to what Namjoon looked at his wristwatch and smiled, showing off his dimples that Jungkook wanted to pinch and poke so bad.
"I have some time left."
"Ok, I'll take a shower first. Can you heat up some food?" He asked carefully.
Namjoon stood still, with no expression on his face, seemingly lost in his thought, until he nodded with a lip smile and turned around, walking towards the kitchen.
Jungkook frowned at his weird behavior, thinking if he said something that could leave the alpha mad, but he seemed normal, happily humming as he rummaged through the fridge for food.
