I tell Christian that I will approach Miss Steele about merging with us since we both have something the other wants a needs to get to the next level. Raymond Steele surely has been checking into this and we reached out prior to his death. I am thinking that the guys that were fired hid things from Miss Steele. So I call and get her assistant and he hears GEH and stops me before I can tell him we would like a meeting to propose a merger of types that would be beneficial to both of us. It involves the technology we both have that if we came together and talked about the documents we sent to her company. He said he would look and find out.

I checked the log of business documents and find that GEH had indeed sent us something regarding our new technology and it disappeared somehow, then I see that it was one of the executives who were fired recently and I call miss Bailey and ask her to send the documents again because it was somehow lost during the transfer of ownership. I think she figures that they were destroyed by the guys we fired. GEH had copies couriered over quickly. I read through it and let legal check it over and they say it's a straightforward merger and no tricks at all. SonInput it through to Miss Steele and she reads it and I explain they sent it over before the transfer of ownership. She checks her dads notes and it says that he was going to chat with Christian Grey or Roz Bailey before he passed away. He wanted this merger.

Andrew sets up the meeting between myself and my tech head along with GEH Roz and Barney and we bring in attorneys and pertinent staff for the meetings. I am still going through the in and out is all the merger agreement and something is bothering me about it. Then I see it. They want the patent, well that is not going to work out at all. The patent belongs to my head of IT. So we can't go through this merger so there's no point in talking to them about it, that is why dad hadn't gone through with it.

Miss Steele called me personally and informed me the patent would not be included in the merger because it belongs to her head of IT department and they pay her for use of it. I ask if I can discuss the patent with her IT head and she says it would be a waste of time since they have a contract for the use of it for ten years and only they have exclusive rights to use her creation and patent. So there would be no point in meeting with us. I go talk to Christian after hanging up with Miss Steele and explain to him about the clause about wanting the patent and he has legal draw up the documents to eliminate that clause if it is a deal breaker. I call Miss Steele back after we sent the new documents to her.
We agree to meet the next day with all the factors.
Windy Summers Head Of IT Steele International
My patient is how this merger is coming to fruition and I still retain rights Anastasia told them my patent belonged to me and we have a ten year contract regarding the company using it exclusively and they are the only manufacturer that can. The part can be used by them in joint manufacturer's use, but they can only use it in conjunction with Steele's product. I want legal in on this meeting so we are very clear that GEH can't reproduce it or anything similar to my design. I have the right to end the use of my patent if GEH doesn't abide by my rules. I also get to inspect their manufacturing plant at any time I wish to assure they stay compliant.

My IT guy Barney and their IT person Windy Summers know each other and they start chatting away. We finally come to order with Roz on my side and a few people on Miss Steele's side. Jason is standing keeping watch over everyone. Miss Steele tells her people to sit down as she enters in casual wear. I am here in my expensive suit and so are everyone but Barney. I look over at the other side and I am amazed they are all dressed in casual wear, including her bodyguards and attorneys.
Roz
I think I am going to like working with the Steele International people. I can come casually and wear my flats. Christian looks at me and says just remember to bring dress clothes when you come down here. We read through all of the new deal and we finally get to the clause that was thrown out. Windy takes over at this point and pulls out her contract with the Steele's and her documentation that we need to read over and it is make or break time. The attorneys both get involved in the part of the discussions. Oh goodie, Christian is listen closely to everything being said.

I listen very closely and I ask if Miss Summers would sell her patent to me?
Windy
No, because I under contract to Miss Steele for ten years and I am not able to sell it to anyone until the contract is up. We go through everything and finally everyone comes to an agreement and it is understood that GEH can't have access to my designs or the patent. The finished product with my patented item is what they need to begin with. GEH owns the patent for their parts to put this inside it. We sign everything and Andrew pulls out his notary seal and gives copies of his notary license to GEH attorneys to look over. Everything is signed and we finally take them on a tour of the building and the factory. Barney and make plans to get together.
Roz
We get the tour as Barney reconnects with his friend Windy. Christian s talking it up with Anastasia and I think he has some other things that they can collaborate on and I think they are getting along very well. The attorneys have went back to work, our security guards are walking with us. Lunch is being served by catering and the food is great. It just happens to be a company Miss Steele bought and hired staffing. She is still looking for a bigger place so they can expand their business. We have a building that might fit her needs so we make an appointment for her and her head of planning and her head chef to join us to see it.
