Tom was always rather bitter, distant towards those around him. While in contrast Matt was loud, social, energetic although a bit self-centric sometimes.
A perfect balance, Quiet yet temperamental salt, bitter as the sea and Loud energetic, and sweet as candy sugar.
They'd have their moments together, whether it was a mildy sarcastic complement from Tom or maybe a random gift from Matt. What the two had was special.
They'd sit together, adventure together, eat together, they were almost inseparable despite being near polar opposites.
It's hard to say how they'd managed to stick by each other's sides after so many years, but deep down they knew..
They'd always be each other's sugar and salt.
