"P'Singgggg" Singto's favourite voice whined just as he won a battle in his game. Singto could make out the slight annoyance in Krist's voice.

"Yes kit?" He kissed the younger's head as the latter came and perched himself next to singto on the bed.

In response, Krist shoved his phone into Singto's face.

"See this!" He whined.

Singto glanced at the news headline. Something about the two of them parting ways. Singto chuckled. That was funny.

He stopped laughing when Krist glared at him.

"It is not funny! It is annoying and dumb!" Krist said, pouting.

Singto kissed his pouting lips. "It is funny- look, they've even spelled your name wrong." That did kind of annoy Singto though- how could they spell Krist's name wrong?

Krist hissed. He plopped his head on Singto's chest and pressed a quick kiss there.

"Why the fuck are they posting things they know nothing about? Who the fuck said we are 'parting ways'??? I want to wring this author's neck."

Singto played with Krist's hair. He knew the younger had always been more affected by things like this. The media was always doing something or the other to try to sink their ship. At this point, after so many years, Singto wondered why they even tried. The media had come at them so many times, trying to split them apart- what had happened? Nothing.

Well, except that they had been pushed even closer together and had emerged unscathed every single time.

What was the point in even trying to sink their ship? If it had to sink, it would have done so long ago. So many other ships had come and gone, coming in like a speeding truck and then fading out like sunlight every dusk.

Only KristSingto had stood tall, braving storm after storm. From hate attacks to separate pairings and no work together for months, nothing had ever been able to push them apart. Why try to play with fire when you know fire could burn you?

Krist and Peraya, when angry, were forces to be reckoned with. Singto usually did not say much, because it was hilarious to see Perayas coming out to bash anyone who so much as dared to speak against them. Of course Singto knew their fandom wasn't perfect- but it was good.

Singto was very comfortable in his skin and with his fans. He knew there were other ships more popular now, but they were like fad diets, coming in for a season and then disappearing unless being given a series together. No one had held on like them.

Singto knew they'd always have their loyal fans behind them, he had seen firsthand the loyalty of their fanclub. Some had stood with them for more than half a decade now.

Krist had always been unsure, scared that he might lose the people he loves so dearly. But now, Singto was glad that he too knew that no matter what happened, the fans and Singto would always be there with him. They've come such a long way together.

But right now, Krist was mad, like REALLY MAD. He was huffing. That always scared Singto a little. Angry Krist was very adorable but still very scary.

"Why can't they just leave us the fuck alone? Why not focus on the other ships which have all those fights and conspiracies surrounding them? We are happy together, but they just won't leave us at peace." Krist grumbled.

"Because it's their job to make things sensational." Singto answered.

"Can't they find sensationalism somewhere else? There are more ships which can give better sensationalism." Krist snuggled closer to Singto.
