The settlement of Arcadia housed over one hundred people, founded in the beginning of the Apocalypse. It's walls were high, community strong, and people lively. Save for the few people they lost out on runs, they had never suffered any major losses, and were getting along quite well.
Until one rainy night, when someone happened to leave the gate open.
A heard of walkers managed to get into the walls, massacring the majority of the people in Arcadia. They all fought as hard as they could but, most of the town was not versed in fighting or killing these beastly creatures. It really looked like all hope was lost as the sun began to rise, and only a few remained.
In came the Donnelly brothers, who managed to save the last living survivors and get them out of the area safely. From then on, the small group stuck together, doing their best to survive. They were all taught to hunt, kill, and camp, in a world where those skills were necessary.
