Tessa was sitting next to a zone out Noa when she told the girls what had happened to her last night, pushing aside the memories of them getting intimate to not let her out of focus.
"I knew it. This all goes back to our mother's and Angela. What did your mom did to her?" Imogen asks turning to face Noa who was playing with Tessa's fingers underneath the table.
"I don't know. A said my mom threw Angela under the bus" Noa response looking between Imogen and Tabby.
"What did A do to you?" Tabby asks.
"He went full fucken Michael Myers. He chased me around my building onto the roof" Noa's body shivers underneath the cold hand of Tessa that was now resting on her upper back.
"Okay, this is getting beyond dangerous now" Faran points out.
"What do we do...is it time to...tell someone "Mouse whispers the last part.
"Unless you want to die, I suggest you girls keep your mouth shut, sorry but I don't want anyone here to get hurt, especially you Mouse. You're like the baby of the group" Tessa speaks up smiling at Mouse who looks down in order to hide the blush that was creeping into her cheeks.
"Plus, after what Noa went through not sure we should be disobeying A and telling anyone anything. And yes I agree with Tessa, you Mouse are like the baby of the group" Tabby says high fiving the girl who nodded her head with her.
Noa looks at Tessa with a smile before she looks away shaking her head as she reaches for her hand this time letting it rest on top of the table. Visible to whoever sees it.
"Angela isn't mentioned anywhere in my mom's diaries, but now, we know for sure there's a connection" Imogen says sure of herself as she looks at Tessa.
"So, the missing pages could be about Angela" Tabby finishes the sentence catching up on what was about to happen next.
"I've been going through all the stuff at my house. But now that I know what im looking for..i feel like I have to start over" Imogen says.
