Dance went by pretty fast today which is a shock because it always feels like it'll never end. Chloe and I are having a sleepover tonight because we have to work on a science project. I'm really excited. Chloe is the only person who can get my mind off of kenzie and kendall. As I wait for 4:00 to come so I can go over Chloe's house, I look through the photo album kendall gave me for my 12th birthday 2 months back. I smile at all our amazing memories. There's a ton of funny and normal pictures. I laugh at all the funny pictures I come across. And then I cry. The pain of missing her is too much sometimes and all I can do is cry. And cry I do. I put the album down and start to read my favorite book, The Hunger Games by Susan Collins,and I stop crying. After a couple of hours of reading it's finally time to go. I grab my bag and head out the door with my mom. I jump in the car and look out the window as my mom drives. When we arrive I give my mom a kiss and run to the door to ring the doorbell. After a couple minutes Christi answers the door, "hello Mrs. Lukasiak" I say cheerfully "hello Maddie" she greets back. Then Chloe comes down the stairs. "MADS!" She screams running over to me. "CHLO" I scream back hugging her. Then we laugh and walk upstairs to her room. We work on the science project the whole time, only taking a few breaks to eat pizza and gossip. After finishing the project we go to sleep. I fall asleep with the image of Kendall in my head.

The next morning we eat breakfast and talk. We watch a little Pretty Little Liars and then my mom shows up. "Hey mom" I say "hello maddie" she says. Then Christi walks into the room "oh good your here Melissa!" She says "now we can tell the girls about our plan. Come sit girls" Chloe, my mom, Christi and I all plop down on the couch to hear about the exciting news. Then my mom begins "so girls. Christi and I were talking and decided that we should all go on a vacation together" she says. I look at chloe excitedly and she does the same to me as Christi says, "So, we decided that on Sunday, the day after the dance competition, the four of us are going to California for four days. It's all planned already and everyting!" me and ty pack chloe both scream of excitement, then hug our moms saying thank you a thousand times. I can't wait to go on my first vacation with my new bestfriend. I just wish kendall were here to come with us...
