"Woah!" Hachi looks at a mask in the store. "That mask looks good!" He said. "It's a simple smile mask, Hachi," Meki said. "But it's cool," He said. "That one is better" She points to an angry mask. "HAHAHAHA It looks ugly" Hachi laughs. Meki punches Hachi, "Ow... What was that for?" He said. "Let's go now Hachi before we get late on our registration," Meki said.
They walked their way to the Circle. A Circle has 4 rounds where children can be fully registered.
As the two arrive, they saw many kids who got registered. "They already have masks," Meki said. "Maybe they bought it before they go inside. We should've bought it earlier" He said. "Let's just go inside" She replied. The two went inside and waited in the waiting area.
"Hachi Kazuki, Meki Sayami. Please proceed to the first round." The announcer said. The two entered the room and saw a woman wearing a black circle mask. "Please sit down," She said pointing at the chairs.
"Meki Sayami and Hachi Kazuki, I'll ask a few questions that you'll need to answer," The woman said. "Ok.." The two felt nervous. "First question. What are your favorite colors?" She asks. "Blue," He said "Purple" Meki answered.
The masked woman writes on her notes. "What are your skills," she asks. "We both know street fighting and pickpocketing," Meki said. "By any chance, do you two ever experienced a fight?" The woman asks. "No." Hachi looks away. "I had once fought a kid who bullied Hachi" Meki throws a punch. "Fought for her friend..." The woman writes on her notes.
"Last question, have you ever practiced using a weapon? Or what weapon do you use" She asks "Yeah, I like using double long-range weapons and a knife," Hachi said. "I only use double long swords," Meki said. The woman writes on her notes again.
"You're all done," The woman claps her hand. "Please proceed to the next round." The woman points at a door and opens it. The two went to the next round.
They saw a white room with two chairs and a man with a white circle mask standing in the middle of the room. "Please sit down," The man said as the two sat down.
The man picks up an oval gadget. "This oval gadget will make a tattoo-like on your hand. This proves you're a true masker." The man places the object above Hachi's hand. "This will hurt a little bit," The oval object lights up. "By saying "little bit" you're referring to a small ant rig-" The oval flashes. Hachi saw a circle with a square in the middle of his hand. "Hahaha... " He laughs.
The man went to Meki and tattooed her. "Damn... This looks cool, right?" Meki said. "Y-Yeah..." He replied. "Now, please proceed to the next round," The man said.
The two proceeds to the next round. They saw a man in a green hoodie with a white smile mask and an axe behind his back. "W-wait you're that famous Masker who killed a total of 2,432 Crimsons!" Hachi said. "2,433 to be exact, and yes I am," He said. "He's the Dreamer!" Meki said. "It was said that no one ever saw what was behind his mask, all they know is that he had dirty blonde hair," Hachi said. "Well, my friends know what's behind it," He chuckles. "Can I ask you something?" Hachi said. "Yeah sure, also call me Dream," Dream said. "Do you fear anything?" Hachi asks.

"Now for this round children, you'll be choosing one of these 10 masks that you think is suited for you" Dream continued. "I think this one suits me" Hachi picks an XD mask. "I think this one's pretty cute" Meki picks a >^< mask.
"I think you're all done! You can go to the final round children" Dream says. "DOn'T gO oUt ThE fAcE" Dream says in his voice, glaring at them without them seeing. The two shiver. "HAHAHAHAHAHA" Dream wheezes like a tea kettle. "I'm just joking, now proceed to the next round, and nice meeting you children" Dream waves his hand as the two enter the final round.
Hachi and Meki went to the final round. They saw a white room and a man with a black mask holding a camera. "Please sit and wear your masks." The man said. Meki first sat then the camera flashed. Hachi sat next then the camera flashed.
"All done. I analyzed your databases and put them in your Holocards " The man gave them their hologram cards and the two went to the exit. "We're now officially Maskers Hachi!" Meki giggles. "I know right?" Hachi replied. "We should go to the Square next," She said. "I know but shouldn't we take a rest first?" He said.
"No Hachi. We should first go to the Square" Meki said. "Ok... Well, at least we're crossed" He said, looking at his holocard. "Wait are you serious?" Meki looks at her holocard. "That's pretty good, it means we could stay together." Meki continues. "We should get going."
They walked their way to the Square. As they enter the Square. They saw a hologram, with a man with a square mask.
"Welcome, children. Here in the Square, you'll be educated and trained to fight and be cared for. We will supply your daily needs and from now on, this is where you'd live temporarily." The man said as the hologram keeps repeating.
"See Hachi? This is why I want us to go into the Square now" She said. "So this is the Square? IT'S HUGE!" Hachi said. "Let's check our room and rest," Meki said.
Meki goes to the man with a black mask and scans her hologram card. "Please proceed to room 4036," The man said. They went to the elevator pod. "I'm just glad we're not on floor 100 or else it'll take us an hour to get down," Hachi said.
They find their room and slide their hologram card on their door. They looked inside their room and looked around. "WOAH! THIS IS SO BIG!" Hachi said. "You could fit 50 people in here!" Hachi said. "I know right? It has a bathroom and a kitchen!" Meki said. "Let's go to our bedroom!" Hachi opens the master bedroom. They saw a king-size bed with four pillows and a blanket. "Woah! This bed is so big!" Hachi jumps and then lies on the bed. "Wait let me join too!" Meki jumps and then lies with Hachi.
Both giggles. They look into each other's eyes, Meki moves closer to Hachi and lies on him. They both fell asleep.
The next day, Hachi wakes up without Meki on the bed. "Where is she?" Hachi went to the kitchen and saw Meki. "Oh hey, Hachi". She says while unpacking something. "I brought some food here from breakfast." She says. "Thanks" Hachi continues. "Have you eaten yet?" "Yeah I ate a while ago, now eat your food 'cause we're going to train at noon," Meki said. "Wait, Already?!" Hachi said. "Yes, now eat your food." She replied. Hachi finished his breakfast and headed to the training grounds.
