Enjoy!

Red.

Every time we met, you'd always show up with ruby red roses; you knew they were my favorite flowers. We'd have red roses on every date, whether it was a formal dinner or a casual picnic. You had roses when you first asked me out, and I guess it kind of became one of our symbols.

Red was a symbol of our love.

Orange.

Sunset was definitely your favorite time of the day. We used to sit on the hilltop behind your house and watch it every single day. I remember you used to point out that the sky was like an orange sea with splashes of pink and yellow here and there, kind of like that stuffed bear you had on your bed. You'd always deny that you slept hugging it, but I caught you once, don't you remember? You looked so cute hugging that stuffed bear.

Orange was a symbol of our forever.

Yellow.

You had a personality just like the golden sun- bright, sunny, and outgoing. Whenever I felt miserable, you'd always be there to cheer me up. You always did seem to be the more outgoing one of us. Anywhere we went, people seemed to flock to you and try to be your friend. You were so popular, and eventually you dragged me into it too. Not that I minded, though. You brought more light and joy into my world than anything. Nothing could have stopped us from doing anything.

Yellow was a symbol of our happiness.

Green.

The park was your all-time favorite place to go to. The grassy fields and colorful flowers always seemed to brighten up your mood and make you burst into adorable little fits of giggles. We'd play tag all day, because you wanted to and I would never dare to go against your wishes. No, I loved you too much for that. Just for you, I'd never get tired playing and chasing you around.

Green was a symbol of our tireless energy and patience.

Blue.

Whenever there were nice breezy days, you drag me outside to lay down in the field and look at the baby blue sky with the occasional cloud drifting into our sight. You'd always joke about the sky being an upside down sea, so vast you always wondered where it seemed to end. That would make me tell you every joke known to the world so I could make you smile.

Blue was a symbol of our never-ending laughter.

Purple.

I remember so clearly that your favorite color was purple. Light purple, dark purple, you loved them all. I would kid around and tell you that purple was a girly color, but you insisted on wearing it every day. I'd almost never see you around without a hint of purple on somewhere on you, and if I did, you pouted and said that all your purple clothes were in the washer. Purple must have held so much power, so much compassion in your heart.

Purple was a symbol of our promises to each other.

All these colors put together formed a perfect rainbow of us.

A rainbow that has ceased to exist since you left me stranded at the end of our road.
