Bittersweet (Heejay)

Chapter 13: And in the end,

When Heeseung woke up, he looked out the window to see the faint light of the sun from behind the curtains. He squeezed his eyes shut, still feeling the sleepiness trying to drown him back into his slumber.

He failed to realize his surrounding until he tried to get his phone from the nightstand. Then, he realized the arm wrapped around his waist. He slowly opened his eyes and looked over at what was at his waist

He blinked hazily as his mind was still cloudy, then the realization hit him. Last night wasn't actually a dream, it was reality and yesterday's events happened. He felt himself blush as he stared at the arm around his waist

Fuck, he actually kissed me... twice, he thought, 

Then the body beside him moved, clinging onto him a bit more, making him look at the sleeping figure. He felt a smile place on his lips as he watched the younger sleep, he looked so peaceful.

Heeseung moved his left hand and started to pet Jay's head and the younger subconsciously leaned into his touch. 

Heeseung spent a few more minutes laying on the bed and petting the younger's head until he finally decided to get up.

He slowly and carefully removed Jay's arm from his waist as he slid away, he finally got out of the younger's grip and checked his phone, 6:57 am, said the time on his phone's lock screen.

He put his phone back on the nightstand and headed to the bathroom and wash up, while brushing his teeth, he heard someone knock on the bathroom door,

"Hyung? Are you done showering?" Jay asked in his morning voice,

"Oh, I haven't, I forgot my clothes so I was gonna shower after I get them," Heeseung replied,

"Okay," Jay replied then he heard footsteps walking away from the bathroom.

Heeseung came out after a few moments to grab his clothes before showering, he glanced over at the bed to see Jay laying on his stomach with his face in the pillow, 

"Jay-ah, sleep properly, you're gonna suffocate if you continue," The older remarked as he picked out his clothes.

"It's not that bad, a few months ago I remember sleeping like this after work, and I had something to do in 30 minutes, which obviously isn't important but I'd rather not miss it," Jay explained, taking a pause before continuing.

"And to add, I was awake since 4 in the morning so I was extremely tired so of course I risked it, then I woke up 15 minutes after still sleeping like this and I was alive, a win-win,"

Heeseung rolled his eyes as he walked into the bathroom to place his clothes on the sink. He then walked to the bed and sat beside Jay,

"Nice story but like I said, sleep properly or else your neck is gonna hurt when you get up," The older nudged him, urging him to switch positions.

Jay sat up and stared at Heeseung, who stared back just as intensely. "I'll do that if you kiss me," The younger stated nonchalantly, Heeseung raised an eyebrow and shook his head before pushing him onto the bed, "It's that easy you brat," he snickered,

Heeseung got up but he was immediately pulled back, as he turned around, he felt a pair of lips on him before he even got to process what was happening.

It took a moment to realize what was happening until Heeseung quickly broke the kiss instead of kissing back.

"Brush your teeth first if you want something more than a peck," He scolded, chuckling when he saw the pout on the younger's face. 

"I'll give you a proper kiss after you wash up and excuse me, I'm gonna go shower," he told Jay before quickly heading to the bathroom.

After Heeseung finished his shower, he came back to a sulky Jay laying on the bed while scrolling on his phone,
