Chapter 10: Mother and Father Reunited

-Timeskip 2 Weeks, (Y/N)'s POV-

I was lying on the pullout bed in me and Rin's room, staring up at the ceiling. Rin was out on a run and I was all alone in the room. It's been two weeks since the preparations were completed for my mother's wake and funeral and tomorrow was the big day. I contacted Michael and let him know I would like to use his venue for my mother's wake, I ordered the casket for my Mom's body, and I took Rin out to the store to buy her a new black dress and some makeup for the ceremony. Once the wake was completed, the casket containing my mother's body would be transported to the local church where her funeral ceremony would be given. I was asked to give a speech about my mother as well as being one of the pall bearers for her casket. The other five were Yusei, Jack, Crow, Adrian, and my Uncle Peter, Aunt Isabelle's husband. This was going to be a hard day for me and my family but I knew that we could push through it. Then I heard a knock at the door.

(Y/N): Who is it?

Rin: Panting: It's me love. Can I come in?

(Y/N): Come on in Rin.

Rin pushed the door open, walked over to the bed. She was wearing black, tight fitting athletic shorts as well as a black and green sports bra with her midriff showing. She sat down on the bed next to me.

Rin: You doing okay love?

(Y/N): Yeah. I'm just stressed out Rin. This hasn't been the easiest past two weeks and I just want this wake and funeral to be over. I love my Mom a lot and I want to give her a strong final send off, but because of the fact that I had to plan everything, every second has felt like an eternity. Anyways.  Your outfit looks super sexy babe.

Rin: Aww thanks love.  It's one of my favorite outfits to where when I work out.

(Y/N): Apart from that outfit being one of your favorites, did you where that outfit because I would like it?

Rin blushed.

Rin: Yes.

I laughed.  But then the weight of tomorrow came back and I stopped laughing.

(Y/N): Anyways.  How was your run babe?

Rin: Wiping her forehead: It was nice. I ran towards the park, through the park, back by my old garage and then came back here.

(Y/N): Tossing Rin a towel: Why did you go back to your old garage? What if Yugo saw you?

Rin: Drying herself off: I would've just ignored him. Remember, I want nothing more to do with him. Besides, why would I want anything else from him to begin with? I already have the best boyfriend in the world laying next to me.

I felt a little bit better when I heard that. Rin always knew what to say whenever I wasn't feeling like myself. However, I still couldn't muster a smile. I was still super stressed about tomorrow.

(Y/N): Thanks babe. I needed to hear that.

Upon seeing that I still wasn't smiling, Rin then proceeded to climb on the bed and she laid down on top of me. The weight of Rin's body on top of me felt comforting. I could feel the smooth skin of her midriff on my chest and stomach as I rubbed my hand up and down the smooth, soft skin on her back. I lifted my head to see her green hair in my face. The quiff on the top of her head was tickling my nose. Then I noticed that she was moving her head back and forth. She wanted to tickle me on purpose. I tried my hardest to hold in my laughter but I failed miserably. I began to laugh. Rin then lifted her head and our eyes locked. Those beautiful orange eyes. Then a smile appeared on her face.

(Y/N): Do you want something love?

Rin: Well, I would like a kiss?

She then proceeded to give me her signature puppy dog eyes.
