Not far from the mansion, the pups could hear screams of agony and fear dissipating through the air, ringing the eardrums of the many citizens in hopes of accepting the fate of what had happened ---- Children were trapped in the mansion caught on fire with no escape! Wrecks of buildings falling into debris could be heard from miles away, stimulating terrors within the bay...
Mayor Goodway: Oh dear! Chickenletta, don't you get too far away from me my little chicky coon.
The Citizens: Mayor, what are we supposed to do!!??? Who's going to save our son!!!??? Is this the end??? We're doomed!
The mayor did all she could to calm the nerves of many, but it wasn't enough. Deep down she knew this was going to be one of the toughest missions yet for the Paw Patrol to curb. One thing that was always on her mind, the one that has been with her since the very first day she had contacted Ryder and the pups ---- hope. She was right... Without dragging any precious time, the team heads off to the mansion at the center of Adventure Bay."I hope no one's injured," Chase spoke in his mind.
The townsfolks' safety has been his main priority ever since the day he was officially awarded a recognition badge, which symbolizes the first police pup to make his first "appearance "in Adventure Bay along with Ryder. At first, he was working with some police pups to catch terrorists and thefts and bring them to justice. He was doing just fine... Until... One day, he received a call from Officer Jayhood, a former member of the Adventure Bay Police Department. "Good morning, is this... Chase?" He inquired and noted a response from Chase, confirming it was him. "Chase, you have to come... It's... It's your father."
"We're right on time! Come on dudes. Let's put out this fire" Zuma said in an enthusiastic tone. This sparks the energy in the team to cooperate well to extinguish this blazing terror. The team nodded in agreement, working together to put an end to this fire that was plaguing Adventure Bay citizens. Each and every pup has been assigned by Ryder to do their part - Chase did the traffic control to avoid any unprecedented injuries to anyone, Skye took to the sky to patrol and scour the fire, and the rest tried to assist Marshall in putting out the fire in any way possible. Everything was under control, right? That's what they thought
"Helppppp!!!! My son... He's in the building!! PLEASE!" One of the townsfolk voiced up to expressed her concern to the Paw Patrol, and they took note of it. "Chase, I need you in Skye's chopper and use your drone to spot the missing child! Rest of you, keep extinguishing the fire. Rocky and Marshall. I'm giving you the night vision goggles to help find the child. We can do it, pups!" And there went Chase, hopping onto the chopper with his reliable spy drone, performing his duty to the fullest as he possibly could. While the rest continued their extinguishing, Marshall and Rocky were looking thoroughly inside the mansion as well, searching for any sort of thermal signature that belonged to the kid... Or anything...
After what seemed like forever, the drone finally captured something that triggered Chase and Skye's emotional outburst, "RYDER, WE'VE FOUND HIM! THE KID IS ON THE 4th FLOOR. HE'S TRAPPED UNDER THE DEBRIS!" "We'll never get there in time!" Zuma exclaimed in terror. When the team was running out of time to dig up an idea to save him, Marshall decided on the boldest of the moves... "Screw this! I'M GOING IN!" "WAIT! MARSHALL, DON'T---" By the time Ryder had tried to stop him from making any hasty action, the only thing he and the pups could see was the silhouette of the Dalmation... "MARSHALL!!!!" The team shouted his name but to no avail.
He disappeared in the smoke of flames...
