This is gonna be a doozie... this will be pretty hard to write I suppose. But whatever.

Percy's POV

"Very well Child... prepare yourself. As I WILL NOT BE HOLDING BACK!" Amaterasu yells as she summons what practically amounts to the Sun in her hands and gets into her battle stance, "And know this... I Will Love You Always..."

FUCKING DAMNIT! I don't want this to happen... she... she saved me from death and this is how I repay her?

"I'm sorry for this Mother... I hope you can forgive this rebellious teen of yours..." I say as tears threaten to fall.

I trace my go to weapons Kanshou and Bakuya as they give a boost in magic resistance. And I rush at my adoptive mother. As I get within range of an attack I go for a slash but end up hesitating. It was a mistake that allowed Amaterasu to land a kick to my side which launched me across the clearing. I slam into a tree and I was sure I felt multiple bones break.

I sit down on the ground and just lay there. I can't fight my mom it just doesn't feel right. But if I don't get that katana, I'm certain that I won't be able to save my friends without giving my life. I don't understand why she won't let me take that katana.

"Please... Mom, just let me take that katana... I want to save my friends." I can't do this. Not after I lost my mom...

"I am afraid I can't allow that Perseus." She tells me sternly, "If you can't do this then you are weak, and perhaps it was a mistake to save you that day."

Maybe it was... I should have died that day. But she saved my life. I have a sister waiting for me at camp and I can't let her down. But I don't want to kill my Mother... if I am to do this, I must kill my emotions... give in to being the emotionless husk I was before meeting Amaterasu. This is a dark path to follow... but if it's necessary, I must do it.

"Hm, very well mother. But know this, you brought this upon the world..." I coldly state.

I project one of my weapons I have practiced with for a while now. Gáe Bolg. And get set into the stance I am comfortable with.

"You... Very well... get ready." She says in a soft tone.

"I already am, mother... HERE I COME!!" I yell out as I dash towards her with my red spear at my side. As I get close I don't hesitate to slash at her and I end up giving her a small cut on her upper arm. Twirling around I deliver another cut to her other arm deep into her flesh before she blasts him away with an energy blast. I wasn't able to dodge in time and it hit my side and it flung me meters away. I was able to land back on my two feet and I dash right back at her. I once again initiate a clash with a forward thrust with my spear but she blocks it with her hand. I jump back a few meters and get into a runner stance with the blade of my spear pointing down to the ground and back.

"This is getting nowhere. I'm to end this with this blow." I decide as I get ready for my final attack.

"Very well, give me your best shot!" Amaterasu says as she readies for my next move.

I rocket forward a few meters forward and stop as I jump up into the air as Gáe Bolg is shrouded in a crimson mist.

"You wish for the Crimson Spear?"

I get into a throwing stance as I practically hover in the air. The miasma of crimson mist begins to glow a bright red as the tip of the spear begins to glow bright.

"I'll have your Heart!! GÁE BOLG!"

Announcing the Noble Phantasms True Name I throw the spear with all my might as it rockets towards Amaterasu. As the spear nears her it duplicates into an array of multiple spears. She puts up a shield as Gáe Bolg nears her and it impacts her shield. It hold for a second before it breaks though and pierces her heart. She looks surprised as she looks at me. Knowing the battle is over I start to walk to her. She asks me to help her to the house porch I do as my mother asks.

"It appears that you have won child. But before you go and take that sword as I know you will leave soon after and it will take a while for me to heal. Hear me out? One last time.." She asks me with a motherly tone.

"Of course Mom. Anything for you."

"Don't be picky.. Eat lots and grow strong... Make sure that you bathe every day and stay warm... Also... Don't stay up late... You need lots of sleep... And make friends... You don't need a lot of friends... Just a few... Ones you can really, really trust... I wasn't very good at it, but keep up with your studies and practice your Tracing ability hard... Remember that everyone has strengths and weaknesses... So don't get too depressed if you can't do something well..." she begins to turn into gold particles. I dare not cry as I know she is just going to her secluded realm to heal herself completely, "Respect your teachers and seniors in life... Oh, and this is important... It's about the Three Prohibitions for a Demigod... Be careful around technology... they can attract monsters if used by a demigod... Put your mission wages into your savings account... No alcohol until you're twenty... Too much can ruin your health, so drink in moderation... Another Prohibition is women... I'm a woman, so I don't know too much about this but... All you need to remember is that this world is made up of men and women.." She is a most gone but I can see the tears in her eyes and then rolling down her face, "So it's only natural to take an interest in girls... But just don't get hooked on bad women... Find someone just like me... You know... Perseus, from now on, you're going to face lots of pain and hardship... Be true to yourself... Have a dream and have the confidence to make that dream come true... There's so much... Oh, so much more that I want to pass on to you... I wish I could stay with you longer... I love you"

She finally disappears into golden motes of light. And I sit there for a minute before walking to the katana that I came here for...

"All this for this one sword... Damnit... why can I just live life... why did this happen to me."

I grab the hilt of the katana and pull it out of the ground. There was no rust on the sword despite the fact of it being exposed to the elements do e hundreds of years... I attach the katana to my back with a sheath. I will need to make a better fitting one later. I walk off to the clearing I landed in and summon Vimana and fly off a single tear rolling down my face.

There we go friends. The chapter is done. I'll get the next one out eventually.
