Harry was utterly heartbroken. His heart hurt more than it ever had in his life before. He imagined this is what it would be like if he was older when his parents died.
Except for his time, he was mourning the loss of a person he truly believed he loved and cared for.
He was mourning the loss of a significant other.
After helping Ron and calming him to the point it was safe enough to floo him home he allowed himself to break down and without Hermoine, there was no one else there to help him feel better so he knew he needed a distraction. He knew he needed the only family he really knew of.
He needed Sirius Black and Remus Lupin
"Siri? Moons?" Harry screams tears falling down his face.
"Hey, kiddo. Woah is everything okay?" Sirius asks coming towards the screams of the little boy
"I-i broke it off with M-Malfoy" he sobs out.
"Why? What happened? Everything was going so incredibly well..you were so In love" Remus pointed out
"I-well he- I guess he betrayed me," harry told them
"How so?" Sirius asked
"Well, he wrote a note to Ron outing Hermoine for kissing Parkinson and made Ron find them. He broke my best friend and no one hurts my best friends" Harry rambled
"Is there any way that this wasn't meant In a mean way" Remus suggested?
"No one messes with my friends" Harry reminded him
"Yes, I know but sometimes when people do things they do it without thinking and without meaning to hurt people," Remus tells him
"And how would you know?" Harry answers angrily
"Well once my boyfriend hurt me very much. He did the worst thing I could have pictured him doing at the time and it hurt so bad. We didn't actually talk for months..our relationship ended very quickly and I was dead set on never talking to him again" Remus told him looking in the direction of Sirius
"When I was a younger kid I was very stupid. I was rebellious, I didn't think things through nor did I think of the consequences. And that little boy thought it would be a good idea to allow Snape into the shack whilst Remus over here was transformed as a wolf" Sirius told him
"As soon as I did it. I regretted my actions but it was too late and Snivellous almost got seriously hurt. He would be off if it wasn't for your Father. But I learnt very quickly that it was wrong to do that and I spent months paying the consequences. Luckily enough Remus is the best person in the universe and forgave me eventually which I am forever grateful for. But sometimes people just act before thinking. I just thought it would be a funny Prank and maybe there is the reason Malfoy hurt you" Sirius suggested
"I am just not quite ready to hear from him, in fact I thought this was a perfect time to find out more about my Family. My dads. I don't really remember them but if there is a chance Regulus is out there then I have to at least try right?" Harry questioned
"Of course, that is if this is what you really want and pits not just because of he8artbreak because I have to warn you this could just lead you to further heartbreak and hurt like I know you want a family. I know you want answers but if they are not the answer you think or hope they are then you could get incredibly hurt and I honestly do not know if right now you are able to handle that" Remus tries to reason
"Re re I know you mean well honestly and no one is more my family than you and Sirius but if there is a chance I have a living father out there then I should try shouldn't I? " Harry questions back
