Later that night consisted also of checking in on the boy, updates on his health, and the basics.
Miko would occasionally walk up to the desk and take a peice of candy from one of the jars, offering one to Eliza and of course Eliza accepted.
The sun started to rise, creating a dull blue shade in the sky.
"Ah, I've taken 4 and a half hours of overtime... I'm so sorry, but I do have to go, the person replacing me for their shift will be here any minute. However I will be back later tonight... If you're here still?" Eliza says, frantically checking their watch and stuffing their purse full of things.
"Sounds like a date, sweetie. I'm exhausted as well, I suppose I'll go home and take a nap.... When are visiting hours?"
Eliza explained everything she needed to know about visiting hours and what she could do.
The lady, Miko, grabbed her stuff as well before asking, "Walk with me?"
Eliza could not get enough of her sweet voice, and quickly agreed.
And with the familiar noise of the automatic door, they exited the hospital together.

Eliza walked Miko to their car, chatting about how they were both tired and couldn't wait to get in bed for a nap.
"Ah, just a second, sweetie. May I get your number? I'd like to keep contact with you, if you don't mind." Miko asked.
"Uhm, yes, it's ***-***-****, and yours?"
"You'll find out later. I'll tell you it's me. And what is your name?"
"Eliza, I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you..."
"Eliza. Such a cute little name." Miko said, starting her car.
Eliza backed up, as Miko smiled and waved before driving off.
Waving back, Eliza sighed happily and walked their way to their car.
They attempted to pull open the car door, forgetting that it was locked.

"Fuck, I left my keys!!!"
