Everything around me was white. Where was I? I stood up not knowing that I wasn't standing and it relieved me when everything looked fine and saw hands, arms, feet etc. All I could hear were my short breaths and my heart beating in my chest.
I was in my night clothes and my feet were bare. My hair was probably a hot mess, but I had other things to worry about.
"H-hello?" I barely made out. I just wanted to make sure I would hear it more than anything else. I didn't expect anyone to be here.
My voice echoed around me, that must mean there's walls...somewhere.
I jumped up and down in place to find that there was a sturdy floor underneath me. I then turned left and walked forward with my arms out in front of me; I couldn't find a a wall.
What was this place? I called out again a little louder this time in hopes of finding a wall.
"Hello?" There was a pause of stinging silence after that, then, as if in reply I heard a loud noise from behind me, making me jump.
The sound was hard to describe. It was like the sound of trying to start an old car in desperate need of repair, but it was a short sound in a continuous loop.
I spun around to find an old fashion police box materializing in front of me. I couldn't believe my eyes, could things get any weirder?
I took a step forward towards the box and my step echoed as if I was stepping on metal.
Then out stepped a man in a trench coat who seemed oddly familiar.
"Emily?" He said.
My heart stopped. How did he know my name?
"Y-eah." I squeaked. I had no clue what was going on and I was honestly really scared.
"Hey, it's ok, Em." he said walking up to me gently. He put a steady arm on my shoulder. I stared at it wondering why a stranger would comfort me in that way.
For some reason he made me feel better.
"How do you know me?" I asked suspiciously. Was I kidnapped? Did my drink get spiked?
His face suddenly became more serious.
"I don't have much time. You'll find out soon enough."
What was that supposed to mean?
"What?"
He sighed. "No questions. You might not even remember this when you wake up, let me see your arm." he instructed.
"When I wake up?" I asked confused. What was that supposed to mean?
"Let me see your arm." he repeated.
I hesitantly lifted my arm in front of him. He pulled out a sharpie from inside a pocket in his trench coat and took the cap off with his teeth. I giggled.
"What?" He asked seeming sincerely unaware of what was out of the ordinary with how he took the cap off.
"No questions." I teased him like he was an old friend of mine. But he wasn't.
He smiled at me then wrote a phone number on my arm. Was he flirting? He wasn't doing a good job and this was hardly the time for it.
"See you soon, Em." He said then turned around and started walking to his little blue box without waiting for any response from me.
"Wait!" I called out. No response. "Who are you?" That's the one question I needed answered most.
He was inside of the box but he leaned his head out with the door open a crack.
"I'm the doctor." he says with a smirk and wink.
"Doctor who?!" I shouted, but he was already gone. Nothing made sense. suddenly everything went black.
I was no longer in that strange white room, I was in my bedroom. I glanced at my alarm clock.
"Dammit!" I muttered.
A/N : Hey guys I decided to write a doctor who fanfic on the spur of the moment but I've had this idea for awhile. How do you like it so far?
