"Tia."

"What?"

"Tia."

"What?"

"Tia Rose!"

"What Felix! What do you want?" The freshly dyed blonde smiled sheepishly at his friend before pointing at the drink in his hand.

"I think I made this wrong." He said with a shrug and Tia's tired eyes stared at the iced americano that for some reason had milk in it.

"Felix." She huffed, running hand through her thick curls before snatching the cup out of his hand. "It's literally just coffee and ice, there's nothing else to it." The younger boy shrugged again.

"I'm new sorry." He said, earning annoyed glares from his co-workers that were witnessing the exchange.

"You've been working here for three months, you're hardly new." Mark said as he passed by them to bring a tray of food to a table. Felix shrugged again, unbothered as always as he popped a candy in his mouth before heading out to help other customers.

"How do you deal with him?" She heard Laura, one of the older staff members, ask and Tia lifted her arms slightly, a small smile on her face.

"He's honestly such a sweetheart and a smart guy, he just likes to act dumb to get on my nerves." Laura laughed at Tia's words as she stared at Felix with judgement.

"Are you sure he's just acting?" Tia turned around to look at what she was staring at, only to find Felix holding numerous cups against the milk machine as he tried to get it to stop running. The stop button was right next to him and Mark, who just happened to pass by at that moment, pressed it, shaking his head as he looked down at Felix's sheepish smile.

"Hello? May I order a vanilla latte with a chocolat croissant?" A soft voice asked and Tia quickly rushed back to counter, typing in the order with a friendly grin.

"Of course, that'll be 6.50 please." The woman nodded her head and as she focused her attention on finding her wallet, Tia turned away from her and allowed her smile to fall as she began making the woman's order.

"My wallet." The woman suddenly said, causing Tia to turn around from the coffee machine. "I can't find my wallet!" She exclaimed in panic, patting her body hurriedly before emptying the contents of her bag on a table nearby. "Perhaps I left it on the bus." She muttered before her eyes widened and she brought her hand to her mouth. "I just withdrew some money for my son's surgery! Lord no! " The woman's eyes began to well up and Tia sighed, drying her hands on her apron before rounding the counter to comfort the lady.

"Please rel-" The bell on the cafe's door chimed as a man came rushing in, red in the face and sweating as if he'd been running desperately.

"Ma'am!" He huffed at the lady who had lost her wallet. "Your wallet, you dropped it at the bus stop." He let out, breathless. The woman gasped before rushing over to the man, taking the object from his hand. She opened the wallet and to everyone's surprise began flicking through several bills that definitely accumulated to an amount that not just everybody had laying around.

"Oh thank God, it's all still in here. Sir, thank you so much. This money is for my son's surgery, I would have been ruined. " The lady sobbed as she grabbed the man's hand and held on to it gratefully.

"It's no problem ma'am, although I have to say it's not very safe to be walking around with that much money."

"I know, I know. But I don't know how to transfer money online and my son and I only have each other, the hospital said I could bring cash."
