Thanks to the bullying he suffered from in the Coral Sea, he's spent a lot of time thinking about his identity. While they're mostly masculine, there's a slight part of them that begs to differ, so he finds himself drawn to the term paraboy. 
As for who he's attracted to, anyone will do, but they have a preference for people who don't fall under the typical binary. This is what makes him omnisexual and not pansexual.
