Context:
Along with Anne you work at the Aquarium, of course you work in your own exhibit, that and since you work later hours than Anne she sees you whenever she leaves. However one day something happens making you leave early.
Your p.o.v
"And kids that's why you shouldn't try to kill sea horse." I said. Out of the corner of my eye I saw one of my co-workers. I mean yeah I do have co-workers but I don't talk to any of them. The bosses I only talk to besides the customers.
"What about toads?" One of the little kids asked. "... I don't do frogs, newts, or toads questions, sorry kid." I said. The co-worker that was leaving and ran that exhibit came over. "Toads are poisonous so it's best not to hurt them in anyway." The girl went back to her exhibit which was the frog exhibit.
What the hell? She doesn't run my exhibit. Also she runs the Frickn frog's exhibit how the hell does she know about toads? "Mre. L/n I need to see you in my office." My boss said, "Kids you need to go back to your parents now."
I followed my boss to his office. "So Y/n, I really don't think that you understand what your job is." My boss said. "Huh what do you mean?" I asked. "You're supposed to know what our customers are asking no matter what exhibit you run." My face changed to worried. "I'm afraid I'm going to have to let you go." He said.
I sigh, nod and walk out. "Return the uniform on Monday night." He said. Great I have to walk past that girls exhibit now.
As I walked past I could've sworn I saw her staring at me in a concerned way. Eh it's probably- shit I walk home. Well fuck. This is why you get your car fixed whenever you can. God damnit Y/n.
(30 minutes later)
Why do I feel like this is taking longer to get to my house than normal?
Anne's p.o.v
I've never seen the person who runs the sea horse exhibit leave so early before, which that's kinda confusing and concerning. Did something happen? Did she get in trouble with her boss? In less than 30 minutes I have to go anyway.
(time skip)
I got to my car and started driving, after about ten minutes I saw the person who runs the sea horse exhibit just sitting at a table outside of a store mumbling cursewords well talking to someone on the phone. I stopped my car as my house was next to the shop, not right next but still close enough.
I overhead the conversation that the person was having. "Ugh, my car broke down and it's like an hour walk. Yes I've already spent 30 minutes walking but still. That and I lost my job. Oh how nice that you don't give a fuck. Are you still salty over what happened last year? Ugh. You know what fuck you." They hung up the phone.
How did they lose their job? They were doing so well at the exhibit. They called someone else. Maybe a- "Why the hell are you just looking at me?" I heard their voice. I didn't even realize it but yeah I was looking at them the whole time.
They seemed really pissed. So I walked over and said, "Do you need a ride? Cause it seems like you do." "... I don't get into cars with random people." They said. "Well we're um ex Co-workers I guess." "Did you listen to the whole conversation frog person." "Jeez you don't need to be so rude, I was just asking if you needed a ride.
"I'd rather walk 30 minutes home than get into a car with a person who I don't know." They pushed past me. I guess talking to them really is going to be hard.
