It has been almost a year since I wrote a chapter for the In His Eyes books but I'm starting to get the inspiration for the book again which is AMAZING. I've had a lot happen in my life during 2021 and 2022 and needed to get all of that sorted out before continuing one of my serious books like this one.
IN HIS EYES was originally one book but I split it into its own series instead since I'll be writing more books for the series in the future.
With that being said, sit back.

"Go fuck yourself, Blaze," Ellie snaps, pulling out of his embrace. "I'm not a child you need to monitor all day long—if I want to have a drink then I'm going to have a damn drink and you can't stop me."
The smirk that pulls at Blaze's lips both excite and terrify Ellie. He leans down to her height and uses one finger to tilt her head to his liking, staring at her lips when they part in shock. This is not the reaction she was expecting one bit.
"What have I told you about swearing, young lady, hm?" He murmurs; though Blaze's words are gentle, his hands are the opposite as one suddenly wraps around her while the other holds her hip so tight it must be leaving bruises. Still, the dull pain also brings a dull throb between Ellie's legs that she never expected to grow."You want to start acting out? Fine, fucking do it—so will I."

Blaze Alvarez lost his woman and son in a matter of minutes, all while he listened to every second of it. On the hunt to find the man who took his family from him, months passed, and overtime people start to change — that is exactly what Blaze did.
When Ellie is brought home, though, he realizes that she is a completely different person than when they were last together. New people bring new problems, and neither one of them are ready for who they became during their time apart. With a threat growing closer to them with each day, Ellie and Blaze have to learn fast.
But is what their relationship used to be enough to keep it from crumbling now?
