In a small village, a baby boy was born. He had fair skin and big eyes. While raising the boy, his mother gradually realised that he lacked all emotions.
All he wanted to do was eat like a zombie. So his mother locked him up in the basement to keep the villagers from seeing him. And she stole livestock from her neighbours every night to feed him. That's how she secretly raised him.
She'd steal a chicken one night. She planned to steal a pig the next day. A few years went by like this, and then an epidemic broke out. It wiped out the remaining animals and killed a large number of people.
Those who lived through the epidemic left the village. But the mother couldn't abandon her son. And to appease her son's hunger, she cut off one of her legs and gave it to him. It was her arm after that. When she was left with nothing but her torso, she embraced her son one last time before letting him devour what was left of her.
"Mom, you're so warm," the boy said for the first time in his life, clutching his mother's torso with both arms.
Money, food, toys, and other material items are wonderful gifts that can improve and secure a person's life. But the kids also want their parents' attention, love, and care — these are the priceless and necessary things they want.
