Chapter 6: Conversations

Uchiha Compound-4 weeks later (20 Weeks Into Pregnancy)

Naruto got up and moved to the kitchen as he was heating his ramen thinking 'It's been weeks since Satsuki let me eat ramen' as he smiled, rubbing his hands together, brewing with anticipation as he turned around to find Fugaku and Mikoto sitting and having tea as he awkwardly says "Good Morning Dattebayo" as Mikoto chuckles.

"You're just like Kushina," says Mikoto chuckling.

"Well of course, he is my son," says Kushina entering the room flamboyantly.

"Good morning Naruto," says Minato following close behind Kushina thinking 'Kushina is always like this' as he sweatdrops thinking 'I love my wife.'

"Gu good morning," says Naruto feeling a bit overwhelmed at the thought that this was the first time he'd ever said good morning to his parents before and though he didn't know it his parents felt the same.

Itachi enters the kitchen and asks "Where's Satsuki?"

"Right here nisan," says Satsuki with black lines underneath her eyes.

"Did you get any sleep last night?" asks Mikoto in a worried tone.

"This dobe kept me awake all night," says Satsuki throwing her pillow at him as he catches it as Mikoto blushes at this and Fugaku thinks 'Wait...they didn't...not that' as Satsuki continues "He was sleep talking about ramen all night!"

"You can't starve a man of the food that got him through the roughest parts of his life and expect him not be restless about it!" shouts Naruto getting his ramen from the microwave as he flees and everyone else except Kushina thinks 'What's with him and ramen?'

"Naruto you need to hold back on the ramen!" shouts Satsuki.

"Never!" shouts Naruto as she chases him around the house as everyone else thinks 'Well it doesn't seem like there'll ever be a dull day in this house.'

"Its for your own health!" shouts Satsuki as she slows down coming to a stop next to her father.

"I need some sake," says Fugaku thinking 'This whole situation is a bit too much to handle for me.'

"I can't drink but I'll keep you company," says Satsuki eager to spend some time with her father after so long as Fugaku thinks 'She's not going to be drinking so why not.'

"I know a good place. Well if its still there," says Fugaku as they begin to leave but Naruto stops Satsuki.

"What are you doing dobe?" asks Satsuki.

"Please don't drink," says Naruto thinking 'Not only would that be horrible for the baby but I wouldn't be too good for me either. She's tried to kill me multiple times sober so how may more ties would that happen when she's drunk?'

"I'm not going to drink!" says Satsuki as a tick grows on her head as she thinks 'Does he really think I'm that irresponsible?' and she follows her father.

Fugaku leads Satsuki to the restaurant to discover its been renovated and says "It looks great, but it looked even better in it's hay day!" as Fugaku reminisces about the old days as they enter sitting down.

"You must be confused about the path I chose," says Satsuki nervously.

"You're probably confused about my choices as well," says Fugaku taking a sip of sake.

"Why? Why did you have to be soo selfish? Do you know what you put Nisan through? What you put me through?" shouts Satsuki crying tears of sadness and anger when she stops noticing a tear dropping from her father's eye. She had never seen her father cry before so she was sitting there shocked, not believing what her eyes were seeing.
