Chapter 3

CHAMELEON P.O.V:

Sova got up from his seat, catching Chameleon's attention. He explained every detail of his mission, he gathered KAY/O, Chamber, Neon, Breach and Cypher. Chameleon listened carefully to every detail that Sova explained. Even though she didn't participate in the mission, she paid attention to everything, the black haired girl also heard whispers and whispers beside her. Chameleon saw that it was Yoru with the other duelists looking suspiciously at Sova and Brimstone, as if they had secrets...very important secrets.

After the meeting, the agents decided to train their aim and their radiant skills. Before Chameleon left, she felt a tap on her shoulder and saw that it was Chamber.

Chamber - mademoiselle, I don't think we've met yet.

Chameleon- Oh! Yes, how rude of me. I'm sorry

Chamber lets out a small laugh, and takes the girl's hand.

Chamber- no need, mon chou. You can call me Chamber- Chamber finished his sentence, kissing the girl's hand. She felt her cheeks grow hot and red at the gentlemanly gesture of the man.

Chameleon- nice to meet you Chamber. My agent name is Chameleon.

After the two agents met, Chameleon went to the training room, it had several lockers for all the agents, some of them were custom. Chameleon realized right away who each one was. Until she finally found her locker. She had a bunch of stuff from all the agents, a little robot vacuum, punching bags from Breach and Skye, and even a motorcycle from Yoru.

Breach- hey newbie!

Chameleon turned around and saw Breach calling her

Chameleon- can I help you?

Breach- my partner Skye told me about you. I wanted to ask you something

Chameleon - Of course.

BRIMSTONE POV:

Brimstone, the leader of the Valorant Protocol, was in her office, along with Viper, they were looking at the data and information about Chameleon.

Brimstone- hmm... it's impossible to believe that a new agent managed to save Phoenix, Jett and Sage.

Viper- yeah, I also find it hard to believe, but looking at the enthusiasm of our duelists, I would say she did a great job

Brimstone- you said you knew her and her mother, didn't you? How did you manage to recruit her?

Viper- I thought that from the data Cypher gave you, you would understand her story. Read it again. The sources are reliable. Unless...

Brimstone-...

Viper- you didn't read it, right?

Brimstone- err...

Viper- I knew it. - Viper gave an impatient sigh and waited for Brimstone to read Chameleon data aloud.

Brimstone- let's take a look at that here. Hmm check it out, a spectacle, the blackmailer will want to love it if he gets his hands on this here.
Brimstone was reading the data Cypher got from Chameleon. His partner, Viper, was beside him, looking at the blackboard with footage of the agents to capture the blackmailer.

Brimstone- "She is fluent in English, and Filipino. She was one of the most genius students 10 years ago, managed to graduate at 17 and became a youngest scientist at Kingdom." the girl was a genius.

Brimstone-"Her deceased father has trained her Muay Thai since she was a child. According to the data, she is a girl with a very sweet, kind and shy personality, and will not make us a threat. But she is going through several emotional difficulties, dealing with the loss of loved ones, she will need lessons from Sage."

CHAMELEON POV:

Breach called Chameleon to the corner of the training room.

Breach- have you ever practiced wrestling?

Chameleon- yes, I have

Breach- what? Karate? Tae Bo? Those things?

Chameleon only cleared her throat to ignore what Breach said, the two agents saw Jett, Phoenix, Yoru, Skye, Raze and Sage entering the training room.

Skye- Hey there Breach! Ready to work out some muscles?

Breach - Ohh! Of course, only after teaching Chameleon some fighting moves.

Sage- oh no, Breach. I can't believe you're going to make our new agent fight with-

Chameleon- It's alright, Sage. There is no problem

Chameleon smiled sweetly at the healer. Yoru sat down while 'playing' with his knife. Phoenix and Jett were watching Breach and Chameleon, same for Skye and Raze. But Sage decided to stay in her own corner.

Raze- *whisper* who are you going to root for?

Skye- *whisper* I don't know, I've never seen Breach invite someone to fight him

Raze- heh believe me, I've seen him do that a lot of times. And he never lost. I bet my money on Breach

Phoenix - don't know. And you Skye?

Skye- I'm not the one to bet on people.

Chameleon hearing the whispers turned to the agents while Breach was giving some "lessons"

Breach- hey little girl, pay attention. Never turn your back on the-

Breach went to touch Chameleon's face with his closed hand, but she caught it, and kicked Breach in the shin, making him kneel and pushed him to the ground, taking his arms to immobilize him. Surprising the agents.

Phoenix - Oh my God!

Breach- ok ok I get it, let me go!

Chameleon released him, letting him get up off the ground.

Chameleon - I'm sorry

Raze- Breach, you alright friend?

Breach - I slipped

Yoru- slipped my ass. For me it was a knockout.

Sage went to scold Chameleon about these unusual actions with Breach and offered her some lessons in controlling her radiant powers.

BRIMSTONE POV:

After reading the data on the new agent, Brimstone was surprised to see how brave she is. Maybe she wasn't a bad choice for Protocol. He heard a ring on his device, it was Sova.

Sova-commander, we managed to capture the blackmailer. We are facing the Protocol right now.

Brimstone- Great job, soldier. One less problem for us.

KAY / O- she's a radiant one, her powers are pretty strong.

Cypher- As soon as we arrest her, I'll interrogate her about how she got the Protocol data

CYPHER POV:

Cypher went to his office to see his security cameras, which were recording while he was on the mission. Cypher saw the part where Breach was defeated by Chameleon, he let out a small laugh.

Cypher- must have been an embarrassment to Breach.
