Maylo's P.O.V
Sometimes when you are riding in a car you can feel like you are on top of the world, especially if you have the right music, I was the odd one out kn my friend group, I had my airpods on and I had my gaze focused on the view in front of me as I was resting my head in my hand unable to stop thinking about everything that happend so far in my life. I nay be annoying with this honestly but you can't simply just forget something like this happening to you.
I was thinking about how can I move forward with our relationship, yes you got it right I kept thinking about a relationship with Azya
"Maylo? Are you okay?" I heard Dj's voice and felt her hand as she gently placed it on my shoulder making me quickly snap back to relaty
"Mhh...yeah I'm fine..." I said as I slowly turned around only to see the car empty since we were parked
"Where are the others?" I asked as I directed my gaze back on Dj
"Mhh well Sam said he needs to use the bathroom, Duce said he is hungry and sleepy so he told me to drive now also Jessie and Sophie went to the bathroom" she said making me look at her and nodded slowly
"Mhh...do you need anything?" I asked making her look at me
"I actually am good...thanks for asking" she said as she pulled her phone out, I noticed that she was texting somone, and she had a smile on her face once she red the text. I glanced at her and raised my brow with a smirk
"Who got you smiling like that?" I asked as u nudged her arm in a joking way making her turn to me
"It's no one special, just a funny text I got" she said making me smirk a bit
"Sure...and I will also pretend like the reason that I'm so upset and down lately is not Azya" I said looking at her
"Alright but if I tell you...this stays between us" she said as she turned to me making me nod slowly
"I promise I'll take it to the grave" I said making her nod
"Lately...me and Alex have been getting closer, we have been talking and bumping in to eachother and just overall i have slowly gotten to know her a bit more" she said making me smile
"And? What do you think?" I asked
"There is deffiantly alot more then it meets the eye...also I think her family is...simular to mine" she said making me look at her
"In what way?" I asked
"You know....like my father..." she said making me nod and quickly understand what she is trying to say. Dj has not talked to us about her family alot, all we know is that they are Ritch as hell, that her father and mother both came from a wealthy family and she has told us that her father suffers from some soarth of illness, she has never saod from what but she said that he is mentally not okay, we didn't want to push her in to telling us so we left it like that
"So you feel like she can understand you?" I asked looking at her making her nod
"The thing is...she did way more then that...I barely know her...but for some reason I can't stop thinking about her...it's like she has taken over me and I don't like it at all..." she said
"Well...that's what catching feelings for somone is like, you can't stop thinking about them all of a sudden and your heart starts beating fast when your near them and your try to deny them but you end up falling even more" I said sighing a bit as I took a deep breath
"Yeah...honestly that's why I wanted to get away as well, I just needed to clear my head from everything that has been happening...we used to be so carefree...and then they showed up in our dam lives and suddenly the three of us start catching feelings after a long time" she said making me nod as Sophie walked in to the car
"Jeez its very cold outside...Dj I got you your favorite snack" she said as she handed Dj a pack of skittles
"Thanks...but I will be driving now I'll eat them later" she said as she nodded
"I could feed them to you" she said making me look at Dj
"It's okay I'll eat them later" she said again as the others started gathering back in to the car
"Alright let's go, everyone buckle up" Dj said as she started the car
