Chapter 4

One mont later...

Maylo's P.O.V
There are some moments in your life that are not ment to be forgotten, no matter how hard you try to. Take my story for example, I was just trying to get home from a boring dinner party that night, but I ended up locking lips with a complete stranger that took over my brain for so dam long. Thanks to the braik from school I wasn't forced by my parents. I managed to keep my first kiss a secret from my family. Except from Sam, but from everyone else I was able to stay quiet about it, nit even my friends knew. Then again I didn't really see them during the braik.
The braik went well, I stayed at my aunts house most of the time, I had alot to think about especially about that stupid stranger. Once school started I was distracted and I was also all of a sudden very popular with the girls and guys
It was weird honestly but I didn't question it I just kept rejecting everyone which brought to alot of people being annoyed at me.
It was a regular day, I was walking around school with Sam and Dj, since everyone else in the group late and usually they skip the first day after braik. I sighed a bit as I stood in front of my locker so I can change my books for my first class, I doubt that we will instantly start with lectures but just in case.
My outfit was really nothing special, I honestly didn't feel like putting much effort
I was wearing a blue green tie dye sweater along with black jeans, black sneakers and just a necklace as an accessory.
"In coming, Dj somone is coming to flirt with you" Sam said as he nudged Dj's shoulder making her look up from her phone as the girl slowly stood in front of me.
Honestly I didn't even pay attention to what was happening I was only trying to get what i need from my locker so I can get to class.
"Hi..." Dj said as she looked at Sam and then Dj, practacly ignoring her and turned to me
"Hey Maylo..." she said making me look at her
"Uhh hey..." I said confused since she was talking to me, also how the fuck does she know my name? Untill this day I was invisible
"Hw was your braik?" She asked making me smile
"Uhh it was good" I said making her giggle
Dj looked away holding back a laugh as Sam tried not to laugh, but he didn't hold it in well
"And what is so funny?" She turned to Sam frustrated
"Nothing..." Sam said as he backed away allowing he to contoue making me sigh a bit
"I was wondering if you you would like to hang out...just the two of us...we can go on a date?" She finally said as Sam turned around trying to hold his laugh as Dj was alreading laughing. I glared at them
"Oi guys that's enough...your embarrassing her" I said the girl looked up at me with hopefull eyes
"So is that a yes?" She asked making me sigh a bit
"ook your very cute and pretty and nice, but I'm not in to girls...I actually like guys" I said looking at her
"Huh?!!!" She asked confused looking at me as she leaned in
"Are you sure?" She asked
"Mhh I'm one hunderent percent sure that I like guys" I said before putting my books back in to my locker hearing the bell
"That is why my friends were laughing...excuse me I have class, have a good day" I said to her before walking to class
"Welcome students, this semester won't be as easy...." the teacher started talking about the rules and about the topics we will be covering this semester
Flash back...
My eyes widdend as I felt somone grabbing my head pulling me in to them as a pair of soft lips locked with mine
"Mhh" I struggled at first but instantly melted in to the kiss
End of flash back...
I slowly ran my fingers trough the back of my hair, I still felt his touch on me, the way he held me firmly, the way his lips brushed against mine, the way he was so gentle and rough at the same time, he took over my brain, he took over my thoughts, I couldn't stop thinking about him, even though a month has already passed I was still consumed with the same thoughts. I haven't met him again after that incident, maybe I should have asked for his number or some kind of contact information from him, I need answers for why be kissed me so randomly...this random kiss messed me up so much.
"Maylo!!!" I heard the teacher calling after me making me quickly snap out of my thoughts
"Mhh what?" I asked confused
"Were you listening to me? Repeat the last thing I said just now" she said
I looked around the Class as Dj tried helping me but the teacher was standing next to her
"I'm sorry miss, I wasn't listening" I said looking down at my hands making her sigh a bit
"See this? This will be example of how not to act...Maylo I hope you don't continue this behavior during the whole semester" she saod making me nod slowly as I looked at her
"Detantuon for today...so you can think about what you have done, also have your parents sign this slip" she said making me sigh a bit as I ran my hand trough my hair
"Okay miss I'm sorry" I said as she contoued with the lesson
After the bell rang I grabbed my backpack walking out of the class room fast.
I walked in to the schools garden walking over to my favorite tree, I clibmed it as I pulled out my note book, taking notes on what I rembered from class so I can be a head
"I thought you might be here" I heard Sam as e climbed the tree sitting across from me making me nod
"Mhh...I just wanted to get ahead..." I said as Sam closed my notebook and looked at me
"What's bothering you Maylo? You haven't been your self this past month. You have been distant with all of us, you haven't been your cheery self, you have also been spacing out, and you are never focused" he said making me sigh a bit
"I'm fine...I have nothing in my mind" I said
"Or are you still thinking about that stranger?" He asked making me sigh a bit
"...." I didn't say anything because I didn't have an argument about it
"Silance...so that means yes" he said
"Have you been thinking about Hunter?" I asked looking at him. He looked at me laughing at my defense
"Your situation has nothing to do with me and Hunter, Hunter to me is not a stranger and he didn't randomly kiss me...even though he tried he didn't, also I rejected that asshole and he is not taking over my brain like that stranger is taking over yours" he said
"Mhh...I'm sorry...I didn't mean to be rude about it" I said
"Maylo...it's okay I'm not mad at you, but maybe you should forget about that indecent...it has been a mont, you still haven't seen him after that" he said making me look at him
"I just need an answer, an explanation from him, why did he do that to me...why me of all people" I said
"Maybe you should stop thinking about it, it is taking over your life" he said
"Your right...I should come to terms with it and focus on my life again" I said
"Thanks Sam...I'm going to head to class now" I said making him nod
"Good luck...I have a free period" he said
The majority of the day was normal, untill lunch came, a bunch of girls gathered on our table making me Sam and Dj look at them
"How may I help you?" Dj asked as one of the girls lifted her hand up, shutting Dj up
"We need to talk to you Maylo" she said making me look at them
"What?" I asked confused
"You have become very popular around the school, girls and guys are simping for you, we congratulate you on that" she said as she turned to her friends
"Girls, congratulate him" she said as they started congratulating me
"But because you keep rejecting everyone, all the guys want to ask you out..." she said
"What do you want me to do about it?" I asked dumbfounded
"Will you pick one?! Every guy in the school made a bet that you will say yes to them" the chearleading squad said as me and Sam looked at each other
"I'm sorry I'm just not interested..."I said and walked to class confused how I went from invisible to this
I made it trough detention as well but now the hard part came when I went home
"I'm home..." I said as the maid took my backpack taking it upstairs to my room
"Where have you been?" My dad asked strictly as I took my shoes off
"School...I was at school" I said but before I can walk upstairs he grabbed my wrist pulling me back
"Yiur classes end at 6pm, now it's 8pm" he said
"I had detention" I said pulling out my slip handing it to him
"You need to sign this..." I said
"Detantion? You got a detention" he said sternly
"Yes I got a detention!" I said frustrated making him look at the slip
"For not paying attention in class?" He asked as my mom walked over making me sigh a bit as I ran my hand trough my hair
"What is going on here?" She asked as my dad looked at her
"Your son here got in trouble for not paying attention in class" my dad said as my mom looked at the slip then at me
"Maylo...how could you not pay attention in class?" my mom asked
I rolled my eyes at the quesion making my dad look at me
"Look at him! Do you see how he is acting? That's because you go soft on him, he got to this point because we got soft on him" he said
"Whatever it's nit a big deal. It is just one slip" I said annoyed
"Not another word out of you! In to your room! I don't want to see your face for the rest of the night! And while you are added open a book and get ahead to make up for this embarrassment!" He yelled making me look away from him rolling my eyes
"Don't roll your eyes at me boy!" He yelled about to hit me but my mom grabbed his hand
"Love calm down, can't you see he is tired" she said
"Maylo go to your room" my mom said as I turned around rushing up the stairs closing my bedroom door behind me
