         Liv had a long debate in her head about wether after 5 years she should finally come out of her cave home.

         Liv stop on the edge of her cave, am I really doing this she thought, cold air whipped around her, from her early ages she learning about geography, so she knew she had settled in the Himalayas, down low in a cave on Mount Evert, it was down low enough so it wasn't cold but it was still hard to survive.

     Tears pricked her eyes as pulled her sleeves down more, she wore the same small shirt she had worn 5 years ago when the virus came.

                                                               —Flashback—

  It was the day before her 18th birthday, her whole family was excited, but she remembered waking up the next day to a tv program broadcasted to everyone, "hello, world, early this morning, Dr. Kathleen Smith made an accidentally virus to kill all women under the age of 18, as soon as the virus was let free Dr. Kathleen Smith died, when the virus came out it made its targets all women over the age of 18, if you were 18 at 3:47 a.m the virus is coming for you, if your younger then you'll survive but everyone shall survive on there own," then the tv cut off.

  Liv broke down into tears, she knew Dr. Kathleen Smith, she knew her very well, Kathleen Smith was her mother, she stoped  dying and gasped as she remembered at 3:50 she turned 18, "no, no," she cried out as she tried to remember what time the virus had made its targets, she sighed in relief as she remembered it was 3 minutes before her birthday, she wiped her face and put on her favorite overlarge black shirt and long fuzzy grey pants, she pulled on her large blue hoddie.

    "Hello," she called into her large house, her parents were famous scientists so she hoped her dad, brother, and sister, were still here "Dad, Charlie, Olivia," she screamed into her house, "Olivia, Charlie," she screamed again.

       "Liv," a soft call came from a voice I knew well, it was my sister.

 "Olivia," I called, "come here," tears were streaming down my face as Olivia came out of her hiding spot, her curly blonde hair was messed up, her face was tear tracked and she was in a set of my mother's old clothes.

"Liv," She said as she raced up and hugged me, "Daddy and Charlie left and told me I had to fend for my self, I don't want to Liv," she cried in my arms.

   "I'll never leave you alone, we're together ok," I said into her ear, she nodded and I kissed her on her forehead.

                                                          —end of flashback—

"Olivia," she whispered and started crying even harder, Liv had tried to keep her promise, she kept her sister alive until 2347 but her sister was only 13 then, and not trained like she was, Livs mom knew this virus might come so she trained her daughter to survive, Olivia never got taught, so when Wolves attacked us, I tried to save her but wolves took her away.

      "Olivia, I wish you were here, and you to Charlie," she said sadly, "I miss you, you guys meant the world to me, so I'm going to save the world for you," and with that she pulled her sweatshirt over her and laced up her make shift boots and she started down the mountain.

     Liv watched her breath come out, she may be low down in the Himalayas but it was still cold, Liv looked up and noticed she had left alt later then she wanted to, "crap, it's going to be hard," she looked back at her cave that had been her home for 5 years and she remembered the day she found the cave.

                                                                 —Flashback—

    Oh Olivia, why did they take you, why not me, I promised to take care of you and I failed, Liv was trekking  through the snow and up the side of the Himalayas, earlier today she had had her sister, but wolves attacked, she knew she wasn't safe, but her sister meant so much to her.

"Why," she called out into the open air, "why, I have nothing, kill me now, please," she begged to no one, she took a deep breath and hoped it was her last.

    I've lost so much, I've lost Charlie, and now Olivia, I lost my best friends Silver and Rose, they died soon after the virus came out, I lost everything I ever loved, what is left for me to do but die?

Liv left go of her breath, she looked through the snow and saw the outline of a cave, my salvation, she thought p, she may not have had the will to live but at least she could get out of the cold, as she approach the cave she realized that entrance was small but the inside was huge, she noticed a river running through the cave, this is my salvation, I love you Charlie and Olivia, and I will save the world for you.

                                                            —end of Flashback—

Liv balled he hands and took steadying deep breaths, "ok world, watch out for me," she said and she started to leave her home forever.
