Jinx woke up and turned her alarm off. First day of school. She got up and took a shower making sure to pin her hair up and not get it wet. She moisturized with body oil and did her usual makeup look before she picked out her outfit and got dressed. Jinx combed out her hair and re-braided her pigtails before she grabbed the school bag that Liz had gotten her. Rushing upstairs Jinx took her medication. Liz made sure and checked that she had actually swallowed it before she let Jinx eat some cereal.

"So I was thinking that we could go to the mall and get you some clothes after school today. I don't go back to work until tomorrow so I thought today would be a good day to go."

"Okay mama." Jinx said.

Jinx's POV
I finished my breakfast and I went outside and hugged mama goodbye. For a week I've just been getting used to being back in Mystic Falls. I got onto my motorcycle which Harley had gotten me fir my fourteenth birthday though I could now legally drive it now that I got my driver's license.

I drove to school and a lot of people were looking at me. I ignored them and went to the office where the principal met me.

"Hello. Welcome to Mystic High. We saw that your IQ is higher than that of the grade you are supposed to be in so we decided to go ahead and list you as a junior instead of a sophomore. Here is your schedule and a list of rules that you should follow. I highlighted the ones that you absolutely need to follow." The principal said.

"Here is your new guide and he'll help you to get to and from your classes." I turned around to see Bonnie. She led me to our first period which was History. Walking in Bonnie sat down while I went up to the teacher.

"Hey Mr. Saltzman." I said. I handed him my slip and he sat me up front where it would be easier for me to pay attention.

Jinx did well in school up until the end where she got anxious and jittery. Her leg started bouncing and she started blinking fast and she played with her hair nonstop. As soon as the bell rang the girl sprinted out of the school and went home. Grabbing her keys she opened the door and rushed to take her pills.

After about ten minutes her medication started taking effect. Jinx did her homework and finished it quickly. It was easy for her and she put everything back in her backpack before she went upstairs. Jinx saw her mom and smiled.

"Hey hum you ready to go to the mall."

"Yep!" Jinx said. The two walked outside and ran into Stefan.

"Oh sorry I just wanted to come check up on you. You were really... jittery today at school." Stefan said.

"Oh yeah I just had to take some of my medication. It wore off too soon." Jinx said. She walked over to the car and got in.

"Thank you for looking after her Stefan." Liz said.

"My pleasure."

Liz and Jinx went to the mall and Jinx got many outfits. The car was filled to the brim by the time the drove back home.

"Boys help us get this stuff in!" Liz said when she saw that her eldest daughter had her friends over.

"Ooh what did you get mom?" Caroline said trying to look into the bags.

"Nothing for you Caroline. Jinx needed a new wardrobe so I took her shopping." Liz said.

"But what about me!"

"What about you?" Liz said annoyed. "Come on Jinx let's organize all of this."

"That's okay I got it." Jinx said.

The boys took the bags downstairs and the girls sat upstairs and talked about random things. About an hour later the girls noticed that the boys never came up.
