Daphne's POV

"I'm, really stupid," Bella sighed as she turned to Edward. "No, it's all right. Come on, people are probably missing us," Edward reminded her. "Let's go back." We headed back to the party. Alice and Rosalie took Bella to get changed. Everyone threw rice over their heads as they exited the house. Renee and Charlie teared up when they saw them. "So, they really won't tell you where he's taking you?" Renee asked as she pulled Bella aside. "No, it's a surprise," Bella replied. "Well, wear a hat. Sunscreen. Take care of yourself," I told her, smiling. "I will," Bella agreed. I smiled. "Okay," Renee smiled as she hugged Bella. "I love you two," she told her. "I love you too," Bella replied. "So much," Renee added. "Thank you," Bella asked. "Everything's packed and ready to go," Charlie said as he walked up to us.

He, Jasper, and Edward were putting the luggage in the trunks of the cars. "Cool," Bella said. "Oh. I'm gonna go see him. Yeah," Renee sighed as she left. "Dad," Bella said. "Well... It's gonna be strange, you not living under my roof" Charlie sighed in sadness. "Yeah. It's gonna be strange for her, too," I agreed. "You know it will always be your home, right?" Charlie asked. Bella nodded her head. "I love you, Dad. Forever," Bella said as she hugged Charlie. "I love you, too. I always have and I always will" Charlie sighed. "All right. Go on. You don't wanna miss your plane. Wherever it's going." I said as I walked to Jasper and Bella went to Edward. as they got into the car. Edward started the car and began to drive, I saw all the guests waving goodbye to them. As they left I heard a wolf's lonely howl. Poor Jacob.

-2 WEEKS LATER-

The sun was high in the sky, the air was cool. I am sitting on a boulder. Jasper and Milo are in the water, playing. I laugh at them, as my phone rings. I wasn't gonna pick up but Bree was calling. "Bree? Are you all right?" I asked. "I'm not 100% sure," she replied. "Why? What's wrong?" I ask. "Alice just had a vision," Bree said but she stopped. " what did she see?" I asked. She hung up on me, then Bella called. "Bella? Why are you calling? Are you all right?" I asked concerned. "I'm not 100% sure," Bella replied. "Why? What's wrong? Did something happen?" I say as jasper and milo are still playing. "I don't know. I'm a little worried," Bella asked. "Can vampires go into shock?" "Has Edward been harmed? Have you been harmed?" I asked. "No. I know that it's impossible, but I think that I'm pregnant," she replied.

"W-what?!" I stand up, almost falling into the water. I couldn't move. If I was alive my heartbeat would increase and I was shocked, I wasn't able to move even, it was something like an explosion of energy within and how could something like this happen. This is completely new, I'm unaware, and moreover. Whatever this is, it was strange and powerful. "Okay just calm down. the sooner you get here, the sooner we can find out what it is. You need to call Carlisle, and I need you to get to the mainland at once," I answered. " Okay, I will" She hangs up. Jasper swims to catch the ball for milo when he feels my emotions. "what's wrong Darlin?" Jasper asks, coming up to me. " I think Bella's pregnant," I tell him.

-Cullen House-

When Edward and Bella arrived at the house, I ran to Bella's side and pulled her out. Edward growled at me for protecting her. Bree stood off to the side, looking worried. "What are you doing, Daphne?" Edward asked me. "I won't let you hurt the baby," I hissed at him." It could kill her," Edward shot back. "If you truly love her," I told him. "You would want this baby too." "Not if her life is in danger," Edward replied as he looked at Bella. I shook my head as I carried Bella inside. "What happened?" I asked. "I'm pregnant," she told me. I nodded as she hugged me.

.-Two weeks later-

Jacob entered the house as Billy and Charlie were talking to each other. "Hey, son," Billy wheeled around to look at him. "What's going on?" Jacob asked. "Bella called him," Billy replied, referring to Charlie. "Hey, haven't seen you in a while," Charlie spoke up. "You okay?" "So, you finally heard from Bella?" Jacob asked. "She extending their trip. Seems to have caught a bug. They wanna wait until she feels better before they travel," Charlie answered. "she's sick?" Jacob asked. "Yeah, Daphne told me not to worry, but she sounded, I don't know, off, Plus Bella was coughing in the background" Charlie added. "Bella seems bad. Hadn't talked to her yet." "They'll be okay, Charlie. Come on. Let's eat. Jacob, let it go," Billy said as the young wolf bolted for his bike.
