The next few days go by and once again, I listen in more and more into Celeste's clients, I can't tell if it's out of boredom or intrigue. A lot of it is the same old story, though occasionally there are some people that are on the fence of heaven and hell. In those cases, it's usually people who have done some shitty things but have made up for them some time later. I meet with Celeste again, but this time she sat at the couch as if she was expecting me to join here. Before I can sit down, she asks "How did you end up with this job? You asked me the other day, but you never told me how you got here.". I paused for a moment as I was surprised to hear Celeste start a conversation, "Oh well, hell, obviously you are given punishment so they sent me to the most mind-numbing job around, but honestly it could be worse, out of the jobs I would hate, this is one of the calmer ones, so I got lucky in that aspect.". She started smiling, which was unusual, I like it. "You're seeming rather social, also you're smiling. I've worked with you for however long and I've never seen you smile... stop it" Celeste turned away rather quickly as if she was unaware of what she was doing. "Oh, um, yeah, I guess so.". I smirk, I guess I enjoy the fact I can give her conflicting feelings. Maybe I can turn her bad. This could be interesting, but I need some time to think about how first. "Well this was fun, but I'm gonna let you sit in your awkwardness". "Hey!". I laugh as I walk away.I return to my sulfur covered room and sit down trying to think how to turn a shy, awkward angle to a slightly eviler version of herself. I have to get her out of her shell before I start to do more daring things. I guess this means I have to befriend her. I hate the thought of having to be genuinely friendly but at least it's for a "good" cause.
